Odds of the SA having solid proof?

  • #81
There is no way the SA has "solid proof" that hasn't been disclosed, because, if they did, they wouldn't be allowed to use it at trial!

Also, they are not tossing out anything useful, just separating the wheat from the chaff. :)

Dominic Casey's statements have not been disclosed. IMO will be quite damaging!!!!

Thank you, you are correct. Her indictment may or may not have contained horrific evidence but something led to the indictment for murder without a body.

Hi Bunchy :seeya:
ITA.
I would consider any discussion about the smell and pictures of the stain in the trunk ,horrific, especially when you realize it most likely came from that precious baby girl. It's possible the jurors smelled it for themselves.
Franky,I think those pictures of ICA beaming at a bar ,while her daughter was "missing"are pretty horrific. What kind of a mother could do that?
It doesn't have to be an actual picture.Simply the image that some of this info puts in your head is enough to make you physically ill.
Regardless of what the State has,the defense has nothing.Maybe they legally don't have to ,but the jury is going to be looking for an explanation starting with the 31 days.

Well, that's a good point--the "evidence" has to be disclosed before trial, but the witnesses might say things we weren't expecting.

Is DC on the State's witness list? If so, IMO the State did not order a transcript of his "investigative interview." Otherwise, they would have had to disclose it.

A while back someone had reposted a link to the beginning threads on WS when all this first went began, and people here had it pegged immediately for what it is (IMO), the family trying to cover up for KC, KC's guilt and total lack of any remorse, etc. And this was before 2 more years of all this roundabout and the Defense's attempts to muddy the waters and make it about the people who actually were out there searching or about how KC was treated, or about the media, and all these other flimflams and shoddy parlor tricks. IMO the SAs know exactly what they are doing and are making it about that, the actual crime that is being tried- if the defense wants to continue their dog and pony show because they don't have any proof KC is innocent they can certainly try, but won't get very far.

IMO ;)

Correct me if I am wrong...but have we seen a single image/picture/video of KC actually being a normal mom? Cuddling, hugging, rocking, holding, feeding, caring for her child? I have tons of these with my kids.

Any images we have seen with KC and Caylee has been like goofing around, posed playing. Like a prop. Or having Caylee dressed up "cool" with the sunglasses, flirty tshirts. Dumb for a child of 2.

No...the images we have of her are that of buying beers and bras with her friend's checkbook, skanking at the bars, checking out a video (on the night that her daughter was last seen) whilst wrapped around her man, puking, peeing, strutting (in court!) in her hoodie and her tied up at the waist "missing Caylee" tee-shirt, full on eye make-up the night she was arrested...the list goes on.

Why hasn't her defense team tried to thwart these damning images? They haven't even tried to portray her as an innocent mommy in all her court appearances. Why? Seems like this is 101.

Like MANY others, I knew what this girl was made of the moment she strutted out with her (stolen) hoodie on, in handcuffs, when she was first arrested. She saw the cameras as she came out and started to smile, then just smirked. She found it quite amusing apparently, and enjoyed the cameras on her... Arrogance and disdain, that about sums her up.
One thing I was sure of- she was no worried mother.

The defense keeps harping about the FBI having information that hasn't been turned over to them yet.

Is it possible, that the FBI HAS told the state what they have??

Are they still saying that? What's left to get from the FBI? We've seen so much from them that I can't really think of anything that's missing.

I guess I have a Pollyanna attitude, but I am holding out hope that the SA has an iron-clad case and therefore has chosen to let JB and his troop of misfits carry on with their shenanigans. Perhaps I just don't want to face reality, but I do feel that justice will prevail and a jury will not be snowed by smoke and mirrors.

Could it be that the defense is just not bright enough to interpret the information/facts that they've received from the FBI/SA?

Yeah ~ Just in the last hearing a few days ago, Baez sat at the table and was making whiney remarks about it again.

I believe that they do also ~
I don't care how many color-coded charts Baez holds up and tries to explain, he doesn't have enough colors in his box to color over the main facts.

31 days - combined with "just give me one more day".
The cadavor dog hits in the back yard and the trunk.
The smell and stain from the trunk.

Their client's fancy-pancy strutting, primping and preeming in court with a few fake tears thrown in.

Put that cherry on the top of her cake and let her eat it.

I don't think JB is missing anything from the FBI, but I think there are 50 pages that the public hasn't seen yet. IIRC, recently media wrote that 50 pages from FBI was handed over to the defense...it's just that WE haven't seen this particular discovery yet.

Do they have to get a transcript before trial, or can they just go with something less formal and make the defense depose the witness if they want answers? (and speaking of which DC is on the states witness list. Has there been any sign that the defense wants to depose him?)

No, no one is required to order a transcript. If the defense wants to know what he is going to say, they can depose him. I don't think they plan to, though. Maybe the defense already knows what he would say. :waitasec:

IMO they don't want to call anymore attention to those pictures than they have already received.

To hear C&GA tell it they were all taken longgg before Caylee went missing or was even conceived, so they are irrelevant.

I believe they are very relevant as they are hard proof of what ICA was doing and where she was hanging out for 31 days while her baby was missing.

I'm holding on to hope that the state is ready and will have a tight case showing ICA and only ICA had the means and motive to commit this horrible crime.

JB and friends, bring it on... Justice for Caylee Marie is coming.
