Playing devil's advocate, are we certain that the obstetrician appointment mom mentions for the following day wasn't to have the abortion and he thought he was saving her and his unborn child? Going back to wondering if they were meeting for him to contribute towards the cost. He also retweeted Romeo and Juliet reference and I think in his mind they are really in love. All MOO, of course.

That missing poster has me way more worried than I was before---and I was terrified already.

If this 🤬🤬🤬 wants her to have an abortion, she is in great danger. Because I don't think they will be able to set that up legally now, with everyone looking for her. He knows he can't waltz her into Planned Parenthood and get it done. He will be arrested.

The thought of him trying to make it happen in an illegal black market way is truly horrific to imagine.

I hope she reaches out to someone somehow and can be rescued.

Wait a minute. LJ stole the Audi back in October? so he'd had the car for over a month?
(From the video at this link, which also has an interview with a youth pastor, who ran a program A. participated in until she ran off with LJ. The pastor says that she had a bad home life and thinks LJ promised her a great life.)

He must be a pretty smart, effective con artist if he could steal a car from an Audi dealership by taking it for a drive. My friend has a Mercedes dealership and it is very controlled, the way they set up test drives. No one takes a car out alone. And before they can take it with an employee, they have to give credible IDs and are checked out somewhat, to see if they can even qualify to buy one. How did this guy accomplish all that?

Or did this dealership just allow anyone to take a car out for a spin?

I'm following too.
I seriously don't know what to say......mostly for the fact that what I want to say may get me a time out.

Also, we keep talking as if A.' mom knew LJ was the father of her child, but the last flyer released stated that her mom didn't know until after she went missing and she searched through her texts. I'm not sure how she didn't figure that out after she went off for 2 months with him and was found at a hotel with him....but perhaps that explains why she was trusting and went to see him that night, if we're going to believe this version of her story.

The family's time line isn't making sense. In this report, it is confirmed that LJ was released from custody Oct. 30. Since that time, he has built his list of warrants in 8 jurisdictions.

But family said she left with LJ in September, and came back in mid Nov. How is that possible? Was she holed up somewhere? So confusing.

I thought the same thing since the whole story keeps changing I don't know who to believe anymore.

I'm really not sure what to believe at this point, I think there is so much more that is not being said. If they are cousins and the mom trusts LJ, why couldn't he tell her what needed to be said over the phone? Why drive AC 1/2 hour away at midnight to meet the one man she definitively knew had already harmed AC? I think the new poster only raises more questions and telling one story to cover another doesn't seem to working here. MOO

The way this version of stories keeps being rewritten reminds me of the Sherin Matthews tragedy. Her father kept telling conflicting versions of the awful events too.

ETA also in the video is a page of LJ's mug shots, over the years.
Well things were certainly unstable in her household in August, that is for sure.

I think LJ's extended family is definitely helping them hide out.

Her mom is making a lot of claims on her FB account that they manipulated A. and helping as you suggest.

  • #272
The only thing out of her father was her missing poster and calling Louis Jakab a child rapist. But what I don't understand is why, between him and mom, charges weren't filed at a minimum when A. came back or even while she was gone.

A. continued to deny that LJ was the father. Her mother didn’t discover the truth until she found letters A. had written to LJ - she found them after A. went missing. She said A. had her convinced she’s was telling the truth. On the mother’s FB page she names who she believes is helping them.

The mother said she believes it was all a ruse to get her to meet him. He refused to tell her over the phone.

Now you've got me thinking. The person who said he stole the Audi is, I believe, A.'s mom. Is there a warrant for him for theft of the vehicle?

ETA I have searched for info about stolen cars. The Audis I could find reported stolen from dealerships were from people who broke open a key box, took the keys, and stole the cars when the business was closed. Found one reference of a person stealing an Audi at gun point, on a test drive.

Jethro, glad to see you on this thread. What did you find out about August? I thought I dug through all SM and can't tell what you are referring to.

ETA Never mind, I think I see what you are referring to. Can't discuss here...yet!

I'm just not convinced that as much was being kept secret as we expected to believe. AC is homeschooled and doesn't yet drive, so it would be easy enough to keep her away from the one man who was known to have already had a relationship with her. To drive that far out of the way at midnight, with AC and leave her unattended??? Had she already met with LJ to discuss who was harming AC before going into the Sheetz or was LJ not yet there when mom left AC in the car? Something's just not adding up. MOO

The mother said she believes it was all a ruse to get her to meet him. He refused to tell her over the phone.

LJ arrested on Sept. 11, wanted since Sept. 8.
https://twitter.com/NorthRoyaltonPD/status/907230841201418241

The charges Sept. 8: Sept. 5 – A male reportedly obtained $674 worth of gift cards from a Royalton Road business by deceiving the clerk on duty. Video surveillance was able to show the suspect’s vehicle and the suspect, Louis Jakab III, who reportedly has a visible tattoo on his arm. A warrant was issued and a theft charged was filed against Jakab. He was arrested Sept. 8 in Fairview Park, reportedly with numerous gift, credit and debit cards in his possession. http://www.thepostnewspapers.com/no...cle_9917f330-cb08-50e5-96f7-82b082a9fa37.html

This one sure has my head spinning.

It appears the father lives in the home with mom and 3 daughters. I'm still puzzled as to why the mom would meet Lou at midnight with AC and not her husband.
Imo, there's something glazed over about the details.
Not sure what though.
Why wasn't Lou in trouble for kidnapping AC when they came back?

Unfortunately, until more people of interest are named, there isn't a lot to go on, that we can discuss here.
LE has said publicly that they do not have a lot to go on at this point, which concerns me. Seems like there should be a lot to go on with cell phone records, social media, etc.
Has mom turned over the texts and notes she has which indicated LJ was the father?
Do we have any reason to believe that we can believe anything that has been reported so far?
Argh. Where is this vulnerable child?

Echoing your head spinning!
I would like confirmed timeline on what happened from the first week of September until this December.
I've found photos of A. with her father in Aug. and early Sept. So I've put her with her family up through Sept. 11 based on dates of photos. LJ was taken into custody Sept. 11. How long was he held?
LJ's warrants and arrests make it unlikely, IMO, that the family's timeline of him having her from Sept through Nov is very unlikely. Perhaps they mean Octob. 30 through Thanksgiving? Because he was in custody in Oct.
