Wondering if that baby boy she called her brother was one of her older sister's baby and is not living with them anymore for some reason and that is what she worries will happen to her baby? totally just guessing....

I think that's a good guess. I know from looking on one of the sisters' profiles that there may have been a baby at one point, but doing the math she would have been around the same age as AC or perhaps a bit older when the child was born. Both sisters are still in high school AFAIK.

The hospital is obligated under Ohio law (O.R.C. 2151.421) to report alleged or suspected
sexual abuse of a minor whether or not the patient or their family chooses to speak with
law enforcement. It is considered best practice that medical personnel must inform
the minor patient they are legally mandated to report to law enforcement and/or JFS.
NOTE: An adult may remain anonymous, but the sexual assault must be reported to law
enforcement

i.e. IMO they never were in the system to begin with, they would have been reported.

That has to do with reporting of suspected sexual abuse/assault. It doesn't empower LE to force a medical procedure on a minor for the purposes of securing evidence and just because medical personnel are mandated to report if the minor refuses to name the abuser or denies a SA took place there is nothing left for LE to do. The cops can't tell a minor "well you can deny it all you want but we are telling you you've been abused and you will submit to the testing we demand." It simply doesn't work like that.

I absolutely agree. Rock meet hard place. No matter what happens, AC has a rough road ahead. There is no positive outcome here. But she’s 14 and running away is not her choice to make, especially now that LE is involved. I hope she can at least get prenatal care if it’s needed, counseling and a safe home. LJ may think he is rescuing her and may be right, but he can’t stay on the run with her forever and he faces serious consequences no matter what his intentions are. It’s a lose-lose situation.

The only statement of a pregnancy is the mom and aunt, regurgitated by the media.If she was pregnant and shacked up with this guy in a hotel, then who did it. Really now.. LE can get tests including DNA done by many means, with the cooperation of thel legal guardian (mom), so they don't need AC consent as a minor.

This is why I keep questioning if the pregnancy is even real. I read something and I believe it was on SM the whole reason HC lied about AC's abduction was to make the police more concerned. Well hello.....(scenario) let's throw more drama into the mix and say that AC is pregnant because mom knows the cops will totally go into a frenzy over that.

Her being arrested for lying on the police report says a lot. People worried about finding their child do not usually lie...

I'm not sure where this attitude of giving this guy the benefit of the doubt has come from. He has gone off with a minor, who he most likely impregnated, and she is too young to consent to any of these things.

It’s not MSM or LE but according to Missing Pieces Network, this baby is his baby. I know Missing Pieces Network have been working with Mom and we cannot take anything that she says as gospel, but I do believe that MPN would corroborate their facts before putting them out there. In fact, I know they take a hell of a lot of man hours deciphering the information and making sure that whatever they put out there isn’t BS. Yes, sometimes advocates are lied to and it’s not their fault but we have to go on the information that we have been given.

I don’t like this attitude of we don’t go by facts here. We go by what is given to us and if you don’t consider any of it as fact, that is your choice.

Maybe Paddleboarder could weigh in here.

Which possibly ties back to his comments about "protecting" AC. NOT saying what he did is ok, just talking about possible motive. If what you theorize is not true, it's going to tie back to something along those lines. IMO, all was not a bed of roses in AC's home life.

I'm sorry you don't like my opinion but I've been here long enough to see that there is a great deal of discussion of innuendos and rumors then of actual facts. This is something I don't like, I think it takes away from the discussion of trying to find this person. It's tabloidish to speculate about something so sensitive. The fact of the matter is this: First, we don't know if she is in fact pregnant and Second (and directly related to this discussion) there has been no evidence whatsoever to suggest this man got the girl pregnant or that he even sexually abused her. Talk like that has real world consequences, real people have been hurt by unfounded accusations of sexual abuse. Rumors of that type start as rumors and QUICKLY become "fact" in the eyes of people who don't think critically or with all the information. In this thread alone, 3 or 4 pages after the first accusations several people started treating the rumor of sexual abuse as fact, that is very unhelpful and lets just say the guy is watching the internet and he starts seeing people talking about him being a child molester when he is not, THAT could lead him to murder/suicide. Again, REAL WORLD consequences. This is not a private forum and it is regularly visited by guests, including members of the media looking for rumors and suppositions. As sleuthers we have a responsibility to discuss facts and not rumors and not to present rumors as "facts."

Finally, I don't know who Paddleboarder is but since you are summoning him or her I can only assume he or she is a mod, which is disturbing because that has the implication that you wish to silence an opinion you personally dislike and don't agree with, this is not something we do here.

Yes, we need a VI for this case cuz God knows the mother hasn't given a straight story. Right now, that's the only info we have to work with. And that's sketchy at best.

Paddleboarder is needed here. Perhaps things will be a lot clearer for us then and give us more to go on then A.' mother's ever changing story.
