Lorain Police looking for missing 13-year-old girl, she has not been seen since Thursday
The Lorain Police Department is looking for a missing 13-year-old girl.
Police said officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of West 21st Street of Lorain around 7 p.m. on Nov. 29.
Investigators said they met with a 23-year-old woman, she said she was looking for her 13-year-old sister Amya Rodriguez. Amya did not return home after school on Thursday according to her 23-year-old sister.
Officers wrote in a police report the 23-year-old came to the house on West 21st Street to check for her sister as she was found there once previously. In the police report the sister told the officers the homeowners were not cooperative and believed they were hiding Amya.
Authorities said one of the homeowners allowed police to check the house for Amya and police did not find the girl. The homeowner told police Amya stopped by her place around 8:30 a.m. and walked to school with the homeowner’s daughter.
