The RP (reporting party) I'm assuming is the husband locked in a bedroom. THEN there is a correction that the juv daughters are in their own rooms sleeping. The wife (female) is shot in the head. Meanwhile, the RP is locked in the bedroom.

Let me think on this for a moment.... IMO
Oh boy. IMO

Wouldn't the father be with his children holding them safe, and not in a room alone? The more I read, the more fishy this sounds. Especially a neighbor saying she has TWENTY cameras up and nothing was picked up. Though not sure if their property would be fully covered. Just reading a lot on other sites and getting more suspicious of the husband,.,Because wouldn't the police alert the neighborhood to be extra careful?

Let's say that for now my disbelief is uncomfortably increasing.

Adding to my post:

The RP (assuming dad) is locked in a bedroom. His girls are in their OWN rooms. His wife has been shot in the head.

So he must have seen his wife to know she was shot in the head, he also doesn't know if "they're" still there, and knows the garage door is open. But his little girls are in their own rooms, and he's locked himself in a bedroom.

"Unknown if they're still there. Garage door is open."

IMO

This is the part I have the most trouble with. I could not imagine for a second leaving my sleeping child in his room alone through all of this!! I would risk life and limb to keep my child safe in that situation. I would NEVER lock myself in a room alone ????

Absolutely! I am going to be with my kids even before a 911 call is made. My husband would 100% be defending his home and family whatever it took and being locked in a room alone would never cross his mind. I hope this is just miscommunication from his call to dispatch.

So he's checked out the house? IMO

Her profile picture was changed from a photo of the two kids to a photo of herself and her husband on Sunday evening around 8:30pm.

JMO
When I click on her page and her profile photo it shows Feb 14th 6:44pm. Could it just be she did that for Valentine's Day?

Thank you. When I click on it doesn’t show a date for me. It just shows that it was changed ‘3 days ago’. I’ll remove my post though so it doesn’t cause any confusion.

I'm on a laptop so maybe that's why I see a date and time.

Here’s a recent live video that was posted from Dayton 24/7 Now news. It gives a pretty good look at the area around the cul-de-sac.

The reporter said detectives have been there gathering evidence yesterday and today and seem to be focusing on the left side of the home near the garage door.

Chances of this being VERY close to home pretty high?

Interesting that the article says LE was called to the house for the burglary and not the shooting. Article also says two shots were fired.

Was the 911 call before or after the shots?

At 2:30 am, presumably the entire family would be sleeping - how did AF encounter the burglar, rather than (or in addition to) CF? She heard noises and went to investigate on her own? (Seems unlikely IMHO) He went to investigate and she went to protect the kids and somehow encountered the burglar, who fled after shooting her without encountering CF?

What needs to be established:
Were there cameras/security at the house
Was anything removed from the house
What were the "signs of forced entry" and were there signs of a panicked exit as well
Are there vehicle tracks, footprints, other signs that someone broke in and then fled
Content of the 911 call - is it only about "there's someone in the house" or does it talk about shots being fired and AF being injured

All great points ... and I'm trying to catch up --- were the husband and kids asleep and Ashley went to check out noises by herself ?
I'd imagine by now the other family members have been cleared ?
Imo.

If I understand the reporter correctly, she's calling it the side garage door (man door) where LE was focused and drilling. Maybe LE wants to remove anything that has tool marks, or see if there was forced entry, what direction it really came from, inside vs. outside. Just guesses. IMO

The neighbor has 20 cameras!? Was she exaggerating? Looks like your typical suburban subdivision not huge properties.

I feel like we've seen this before, no?
