What's at the bottom of the third-floor window? Something hard or something soft? I think it's possible he fell out of the window, but not in the time frame that is being asserted....

Neither of the possible scenarios make sense to me. In the original story mom ran out immediately yet by the time she got outside Braylen was nowhere in sight.

In the more recent version the mother *thinks* he fell out the window as opposed to walking past the grandmother in the living room and out the door. And as @CharlestonGal pointed out he would then also have to open a heavy door to exit the building.

According to last night's livestream from the WTOL reporter both sniffer dogs and HRD (cadaver) dogs were brought out on Saturday, with no luck.

And no word yet from LE about any video found, either from the apartment complex or neighboring areas. There must be some nearby. Hopefully.

Here are some resident reviews of the complex. One of them does mention they have cameras in the parking lots.

Talk about weird... a little boy named Jeremiah was found wandering the streets last night in Toledo. He's about the same age as Braylen. LE is looking for his parents.
They found Jeremiah's father. I don't know the backstory.

Update: Jeremiah’s father has been located. Thank you for your help!
Alert: Recovered missing toddler. Below is the picture of Jeremiah, a toddler (approximately 3 years of age), who was found overnight in the area of Bancroft and Ashland. Jeremiah is healthy and safe, but Toledo Police haven’t been able to locate his parents. Anyone with information is asked to call Lucas County Children Services at 419-213-3400.
Note: This is not Braylen Noble who has been missing from Gibraltar Heights since Friday September 4th. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is still asked to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.

Super strange! I’m guessing there’s a whole other backstory to follow there. Evidently, no other parents looking for a toddler? Wth are they?? Ugh.

ETA: posted same time that it was posted father was located.

I wonder when the trash dumpsters are emptied at that complex? Horrible question, I know, but it needs to be asked.

They better be in the middle floorplan. The first and third have windows on same side as balcony, she would have seen.
I still don't believe story tho.

The changing story by the mother gives me pause. If LE thought a crime occurred, would they ask for volunteers to search? I would think they’d be concerned about evidence, such as the bloody blanket shown to the mother which she claimed was not theirs. I’d like to know more about how LE is handling this.

Who knows, but volunteer searchers have been used in many cases, and they are with others who are instructed don't touch. Anything. They are registered and can be compared (shoes, fingerprints, etc afterwards.) Finding little body is so important first there just aren't enough LE to cover all that land.
Misleading "pseudo-evidence" can be just as valuable a clue as something genuine.
I also think, MOO, that whether the dogs detect scent of child or cadaver; or if baby got scared/confused and hid, they'd smell the diaper by now.
He was supposedly wearing shirt and pull-up. You know that would smell by 3 days!

i don't know how he would survive for 3 days.....no food/water....whats the night time temps over there?

Well FBI searching landfill and/or transfer station is not good. I doubt Braylen climbed into the trash or dumpster on his own.

  • #134
well hold on....where was the trash cans kept in relation to the apartment?

Another thing, in the article linked upthread the mother also said that "Braylen is non-verbal and has autism, but he does cry a lot, she said."

Frustrating...
The fact that Mom mentions Braylen cries a lot makes me wonder why they wouldn't have heard him crying after a fall from that height. If she had rushed right out after he fell as she reported, you would think she may have been able to follow his cries.

I bet the dna analysis on the blanket is in progress as we speak....

Interesting, because his grandfather said (in last night's prayer vigil video) that Brayden was "...a cheerful kid, he's no problem..." (Just before 2:00 min.) Family and friends pray, continue search for Braylen Noble | wtol.com

I don't know if this grandfather lives in the home with Brayden, <modsnip: Not victim friendly> It's horribly sad for this beautiful baby.

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

I haven't seen the picture, but is it possible that the screen fell out with the child, and that it was put back into place backwards? Is there any mention of the screen falling out?

Oh my. Grandfather's words are concerning.

It does make it seem even more impossible for a 3-year-old child to exit the apartment without two adults noticing anything, be it from the window or from the door.

Yes, indeed. Unless one of the adults came into the apartment when the little guy was "in his room". I hope he is found today.
