I think they said that the pool was drained this time (so maybe wasn't previously...) - if it was filthy enough maybe it is possible that bloat finally improved the chances someone saw or smelled something concerning :/

Can we all just agree searchers, professionals and volunteers, have been searching for this child for DAYS, and there is NO WAY they didn't look in the pool / pool area. None.

Reporter just said pool was 50% full. FWIW

The reporter was at the fence saw it was 1/2 full saw pool go with hook then was told to move back in the beginning. If that was my child I’d be there no one would stop me.jmoo
