One person not shown as being compared/excluded that I believe is worthy of consideration is Michael "Scott" McLaughlin, missing since 10/23/75 from Syracuse, NY.
Why?
1. Scott was known to take out of town trips without telling anyone and had unenrolled just days before from university with plans to reenroll in Spring.
2. Scott was known to be carrying anywhere between $3-7K on his person. Additionally, there was some discussion that he was involved in drug sales.
3. Scott asked for a "ride" to get something to eat. He was not seen by anyone doing so and had already eaten lunch. You don't need $3K or more to get something to eat.
4. Scott had a vehicle parked in his driveway. He could have taken his own car to get something eat but instead asked for a ride. Perhaps he didn't want to have his vehicle parked because he was going out of town.
Physical stats - age, hair color (Namus says brown, DoeNetwork says blond), ht are aligned.
Timing aligns.
The tennis shoe found with the Doe was "North Star". This shoe was manufactured in Canada, by Bata, but apparently sold in upstate NY shoe stores, which includes Syracuse.
Distance could be seen as problematic, however, for reasons stated above I don't believe so. Brecksville is ~ 350 miles from Syracuse with interstate travel on I-90 and then south on I-77.
