GUILTY OH - Brian Michael Rini, charged with impersonating a long-missing child, Apr 2019

Probably used Timmothy's name to get attention. Despicable.
Trying to not become angry.

At least Timmothy's case is in the media again.

My .02 was that she'd killed him.

Again I am so sorry for the Pitzen and Fry families.
They haven't lost hope... and neither will I !

Eta : NM. I'm angry.
He used those people and Timmothy's name. He needs to face charges !

Sadly, this is the outcome I expected. 23 years old and charged with other false claims within the past few years. The age range for his behavior fits when schizophrenia pops up. Such an awful mental illness. I will be interested in seeing if my theory is correct. MOO.

That poor family. :( I can't imagine having those wounds reopened and having your hope tested at its foundation like that. They may not have stopped looking for him or believing he would come home but after 6 years there had to be some forward movement in healing. Then this happens and your heart is just torn open and you're back to the beginning. Absolutely awful story all around.

Let's move forward and sleuth from the beginning. The soil samples and the 6 hours that are unaccounted for. Where is Timmothy?

More than that. I listed off a litany of things to sleuth. He's likely somewhere between Sterling and Rockford, possibly near or in the Mississippi.

Well, that's disappointing. I was convinced from the beginning that his mother killed him. I'm now re-convinced. Sad, sad story.

ITA!

Yes, I also am back to believing she murdred little Timmothy.

IMO. That's why the clothes she was wearing have never been found.

Now I'm so sad for little Timmothy even more so now that I had such hope it would be him.

Imo, she had already carefully premeditated it all out, before she lied, and took him out of school.

She was going to make sure his father never got to kiss, hug, or tuck him in at night telling him he loved him.

To be so happy waiting, I feel gut punched now.

Sigh.

Imo

I just can't get over how MEAN a thing this is.
Stupid, ineffective (regardless of motive), and so, so cruel.

Drug addicts are incredible bs'ers. They will double down rather than admit the lie. It got him out of attempted car theft.

I’ve heard LE say this often. You could catch them literally red handed committing a crime and they will just deny deny deny. It’s incredible.

Or the ole, “These aren’t my pants officer, I swear”

I was just going to muse about how perhaps this young man saw Timmothy on TV and thought they resembled each other and convinced himself that he was Timmothy. Or that maybe for some weirdo reason, he had been told he was. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt, because who on Earth would say this, and to what end?

And then I see Jordan's post. @gitana1 , you nailed it earlier - 24 freaking years old.

So - you get called out trying to snag a car and so you just say you're a 14 year old missing boy? How did he possibly think this would go?

Yeah. He looked older to me. That and the stereotypical bad guy description which was ridiculous. And the initial account that someone thought he was breaking into a car. All of that made me skeptical.

But his unblurred photo resembled Timmothy and his parents. And he knew the middle name and birth date. What crazy criminal meth head would know all that!

I’m absolutely disgusted

For 8 years it took this thread to make 30 some pages. It gained two new threads in one day. People, keep your foot to the pedal. Let's find Timmothy.

Don't. Please don't. Most people are good. Humans are mostly decent. I promise.
I agree with Gitana and am crushed. Oh well.

How in the world did this man (and this photo is 20 months ago!) pass as anything NEAR 14??

I want to know what razor he uses, because summer's coming and my legs... well...

Trying to use humor to shake the bummed feeling.
