He was most likely car jacked. Phone and wallet. Address in drivers license. Cadaver dogs should be used in areas around his work. Or areas around the last delivery he made that night.

I first thought that, before seeing the the details on his car. American made passenger cars are pretty much last on the list of cars being carjacked, and one that's 15 years old with a cracked windshield? Not going to get enough money for any of that vehicle in whole or in part to justify the risk IMO. A pizza delivery driver also isn't going to be carrying much cash. BUT, if they carjacked it to commit another crime? That's a possibility - but I would think the vehicle would have then just been abandoned and perhaps found by now. I hope his family gets some answers soon.

This is on the Keshaun Williams thread, but divers looking for Mr. Jones found a couple of vehicles in the Cuyahoga river. Neither were Calvin's car, but additional vehicles were found and LE was notified (given how the vehicles were found, windows rolled down and truck popped - insurance fraud was mentioned). Out-of-state divers discovered 2 Jeeps in Cuyahoga River more than a week before they were taken into evidence

The police report also notes Jones’ vehicle was seen on a nearby Ring doorbell camera after a missing person’s report was filed. His Impala was reportedly seen parked outside of his home for 51 seconds before pulling off.

Looks sth more personal, checking on his house for some reason. Strange

'We need him home': Brooklyn Heights family awaits updates as a male body is recovered from Cuyahoga River

Ayers told me she has reached out to law enforcement for updates but hasn’t heard anything yet.

“We will not give up, hands down. We will not give up. We’re going to fight to bring him home. Whatever you need. Whatever it is, Bub. If you can get to me, I’m coming,” Ayers stated. “Hell and high water. I just need my kid home. It’s not complete."

“They’re not doing well. They miss their dad immensely. They were like peas and carrots. They just went together all the time,” Ayers said.

Their ‘Bub’ was reported missing on Aug. 20. Nearly four months later, the now 38-year-old father has missed precious moments with his three children and family.

“His daughter turned 18. She went off the college. His son turned 17. Thanksgiving. His 38th birthday,” said Crystal (his sister.)

Now, his sister tells 19 News she believes someone could have hurt her brother.

“I’m suspecting foul play,” said Crystal “But we don’t know for sure.”

19 News made a call to Brooklyn Heights Police to see if there are any updates, but no one answered. However, Jones’s family is not giving up until they get answers.

This is such a odd case. Especially his car being sighted outside his house for 50 seconds and picked up by a neighbor's security camera. It doesn't sound like an attempt to frighten or intimidate.

And pizza delivery drivers aren't usually targets for robbery since store policy usually dictates not carrying a lot of cash. (obviously, this depends on the store in question, and if such a policy exists, it might be ignored or disregarded.)

I'm very undecided on what happened.

However, Jones’ family told News 5 they were alerted on Tuesday that it wasn’t actually him.

So…..who was it? Who took his car and why the car went to check his house? Did he manage to escape and were looking for him ?

JMO, and this is one possible explanation, but the body style of his car was EXTREMELY popular and was produced by GM from 2006-2016, with a great number sold and still on the road, so it could be that it was just another person with the same make/model of his car and coincidentally happened to be on his street. In my personal experience, i see one of these cars several times a day pretty much wherever I go.

The other possibilities that include it actually being his car without him in it are much scarier, I'm afraid.
