Family raising reward money for information in missing Brooklyn Heights father case

Nearly a year later, and still no closer to finding missing father, Calvin "Bub" Jones. His family created a GoFundMe to raise money to put towards a reward if he is found.

His family is adamant that someone knows something, so in an effort to lure credible information out, they've created a (fundraiser) to raise money to put towards a reward.

The monetary goal is $1,000 as of now.

The reward will only be given if Jones is found.

Cleveland’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation, according to Brooklyn Heights Police.

No mention if he was found with his car but previous reporting stated that his car was picked up on one of his neighbor’s ring cameras after he was reported missing.

There is set of railroad tracks in a "ravine" near that intersection.

Based on the street view of this location, there are a LOT of trees and underbrush. So, it would be hard to find anything in there.

The Cuyohoga County Medical Examiner has not released a cause or manner of death as of this morning. Their system was down for a couple days so I was just now able to log in with my creds, available free to public if you are registered with the county gov site at The Official Government Website of Cuyahoga County

IF the death is under investigation by LE (wither suspicious circumstances or homicide) no cause or manner of death listed is totally normal. (Note: the place of death is listed as the ravine which implies he was not moved there after death).

As to the car? This article stated it was not found with him and also that his wallet and valuables were on him. The medical examiner’s office has not yet revealed what caused his death.

His family said they have been told that valuables, including his wallet and debit card, were found on his remains in the ravine. However, his car, a 2011 Chevy Impala, has not been found.
