OH - Clermont County father lined up sons 3, 4, and 7, executed with rifle, mother injured trying to protect them, June 2023

His reaction in this video is - I lack words. His demeanor lacks any emotion whatsoever. "I ain't gonna hurt nobody" - WTH?
He seems cool as a cucumber, directly after executing his own three sons?

Unbelievable. So sad for this family, community, LE, first responders, and I can’t help but also think of the dog that will no longer have those precious boys to play with. Why?!

I completely agree.

I was thunderstruck at his complete nonchalance, and the “good ol’ boy” rapport he was trying to establish with the police. Giving “friendly” advice about his dog; no emotion, calm when saying he won’t hurt anyone.

I look at this man and he just looks like a man. A man who should have been celebrating Father’s Day soon with his boys.

To think that he planned it, to think that he hunted one of the boys down, it’s unfathomable.

His defense lawyer had best not try to say that his confession was false. The wife was there, the daughter as well—-his guilt is a known fact.

Death penalty sounds good to me.

Wondering if there were any red flags? Had he been controlling or abusive?

What will his friends and associates say about him?

IMO, there is no explanation for this evil available.

Wow, this is so disturbing on many levels. Brutally and methodically executing three of your own children is twisted enough, but then to try and pull the "good ol' boy" shtick with the cops when they come to arrest you as if nothing happened is on another level. Not to mention the fact that he slaughtered his sons in front of his wife and (step?) daughter -- I can't even fathom the trauma they will have to grapple with for the rest of their lives. IMO he needs to receive a minimum of 3 consecutive life sentences.

Nothing particularly new except he had a domestic violence charge from 2010

Chad Doerman, the 32-year-old Clermont County father charged with executing his three young sons, previously faced a domestic violence charge for allegedly choking his father in 2010, according to court records.

The case ultimately was dismissed, apparently after the alleged victim – identified as Keith Doerman, Chad Doerman's father – failed to appear as a prosecution witness.

The elder Doerman was 46 at the time the charges were filed in July 2010. Chad Doerman pleaded not guilty to domestic violence on July 26, 2010, docket filings show. The case was dismissed Aug. 26 of that year.

I just wish he could be put to death thrice over, once isn't enough.

It was dismissed, prosecuting witness failed to appear in court. Not sure if the link will hold.

Interesting. Killing three sons. Right before Father's Day. I wonder if there are any signs...

Someone just randomly decides to shoot their children?!

I feel for the Medics and EMTs who responded to the scene. I just can’t even imagine.

All emergency responders carry scenes with us that replay in our heads. No amount of counseling or debriefing will remove them.

That has to be the absolute worst.

So true, but in my head I still need to hear the "why".
Me too, when he was being helped up even the officer asked him 'why man?'.

There is no explanation good enough but there is an explanation as to why he did this.

MONROE TOWNSHIP, Ohio —
Fourteen-year-old Hazel Warren fought back tears Friday afternoon when talking about the deaths of one of her best friend's three brothers

Hazel said she knows terrible things happen in this world but never thought something this horrific could happen to one of her best friends and three little boys that she adored.

"I remember going over there during summer last year, and they are all so sweet and so cute, and I remember being in Alexis's room, and their bedtime was 8:00, and they would all come in and individually, they'd all tell me good night," Hazel said. "They were definitely like the cutest I've ever seen. They were all just like a little pack going to Alexis's softball games. They all just came in a little group. They're really cute
