Is anyone else beginning to wonder if SK is not the only one with an alleged or former drug problem?

Just in what we know so far, we know that in most likelihood EVERY adult in the home knew Elaina was seriously injured!
Frank knew she was injured!
We are talking appx SIX adults (SK, JK, AS, Frank, Mike and whatever other adults were at Federal home) who KNEW she was seriously injured (or worse) and decided to cover their own behinds rather than help this poor baby girl!
I am just SICK about this situation!
How can they let a little girl suffer because of their ignorance and actions!

This exactly. It just sickens me that this many adults knew that the child was injured and were more worried about themselves than getting help for the injured child.

I'd really like to believe that baby Elaina is still alive but all of the evidence is pointing the other direction. I just hope that she didn't suffer while the adults in the situation tried to figure out how to cover their own asses. And I feel so so bad for her big sister Kylee :(

IMOO, all of them (in that pig sty) have drug problems or some weird mental disorder.

TJ and TS Sr. are on NG again tonite, along with Fred LeFebvre from the 1370 radio station, and I heard Frank is supposed to be on the
show that airs right before hers @ 7:00 pm.
I'm at work posting to try to keep up with the pages as much as I can. Oh and before I forget, they moved AS out of solitary over the weekend and into the general population, and are questioning at least 3 inmates, per the Toledo Blade. I just hope they get usable info out of her/them before they beat the crap out of her. After that, I really don't care what they do to her.

Just wondering, not sure if I missed something but why the assumption that Elaina sustained injuries sometime between saturday night & sunday morning? Couldn't it have happened before that? I just find it odd that AS would contact this Frank person to voluntarily tell him of the babies injuries. To me, in my mind, that seems like a conversation to be had in person & only because Frank noticed injury & asked what happened.... Clearly Frank was home or someone was there because in the video AS is seen just walking in without knocking. Maybe Elaina was already injured & Frank asked in person upon seeing the black eye, what happened? Just a thought.

Thank you for posting this for Miss Diana, I also had managed to skim this story and miss this bit of info, so am copying the pertinent part from the link above :

"Mrs. Steinfurth was being held in a single-person cell at the jail, but over the weekend was moved into the general population.

One source said after the mother’s move that at least three inmates were taken to the downtown Safety Building to be interviewed about the case by detectives."

So what do you all think of this? Is she talking?

  • #188
I'm concerned with the fact it's being reported that they are questioning three inmates. If we know they are doing that then others know so Angela will know. How soon will it take her step dad or someone else to tell her to stop talking. Will this make her shut down more? Will it make it harder to finally know where Elaina is and what has happened to her?
I still wish we could use truth serum in cases like this, especially the ones involving kids.

MOO

Good Morning!

Any thoughts on why there was a surveillance camera trained on the front door of that house where Angela was staying with her children? I heard there was a "spike in crime" ... Do criminals usually come to the front door? Who exactly lived in that house?

Also, Who's side is the Step-father on? Besides seemingly insurmountable debt ... Do we know if the ex-BF has a criminal history? TIA.

The surveillance camera is not at the house she was staying at, but rather at the home of a person going by the name Frank, who lives nearby.

I have to wonder if AS knew the camera was there.

The step-father, RS, is AS's step father.

I believe SK only has some non-violent criminal history, traffic infractions and drugs....someone else can better give details on that.

NG asked Richard Schiewe, Angela's dad, what are the mistakes Angela did that he's referring to when he says she made mistakes and has to pay the price... he says he can't go into it right now. He says Angela told him that there were "people" in the house who took the baby out of the house and told her if she told anyone about it, she would be next.

Capt. Weis says they're running searches for both a live baby and a dead baby simultaneously, or in other words (the other words are my own way of explaining what I think he meant) both a search and rescue AND recovery... working in both modes.

I watched Nancy Grace and JVM last night and I must say, when I heard that Angela said that "people" in the house took the baby out of the house and told her if she told anyone about it, she would be next.....I thought of Casey Anthony saying that she was quite because she didn't want her family harmed, and then we hear Jodi Arias say that the "ninjas" would harm her family if she told anyone, and that is why she left and didn't report anything. All righty then, this is getting very, very old. I'm wondering why we have not heard more from Steve King and his mother. I'm also wondering where he is at this moment. Is he in police custody? Is he on the run? Why hasn't he been charged if he is responsible? Seems to me that police don't believe Angela's story or we would know that Steve King is in custody. Why aren't we hearing more about the accused who "dropped" the baby, according to Angela. I was hoping that Nancy Grace would ask questions about Steve King, I think it a bit telling that she did not.

BBM - my reasoning is based on the following facts:

1.) TJ dropped the girls off to RS' house sometime Saturday and she was uninjured at that time.

2.) The surveillance video has a timestamp of Saturday, 6:38pm and at that time it doesn't appear that she has any injuries to the untrained eye, and I have to presume LE looked closely at this before the media was allowed to have it. I'd think we'd hear something about it if they thought she was injured at that time.

3.) It has been said since day one that Elaina was laid down to sleep with her sister, K., Saturday night and not a single one of the people who saw them there sleeping on the living room floor over night Saturday reported seeing any injuries at that time.

4.) Angela says when she woke up Sunday, Elaina was injured.

Based on the premise that there's no reason to presume these facts are false at this time, she would've had to have been injured between 6:38pm Saturday evening/night and sometime Sunday morning. More probably later Saturday due to the reported sightings of her going to sleep with K. in the living room that night, and none of those sightings mentioning any apparent injuries.

IMO, JMO, etc

Thanks. I had to wonder too... Was she "putting on" for the camera?

So what do you all think of this? Is she talking?

I believe she is talking casually to people, probably about herself, probably in a "poor me" fashion, and I think they're going to want to hear exactly the wording she uses when she does this so that they can analyze her statements and glean what they can from them, and I further believe that this will be fruitful.

IMO, gut feeling.

Edit - let me add in right off the bat that it wasn't at the house she was staying at, it was at a house some 11 blocks from that house, very near her stepdad's house, RS.

From listening to the police scanner in that town for a combined, oh probably 25 hours or so now, I can say that it's the worst crime town I've ever listened to the scanner for in the time I"ve been here at WS. If I lived there I'd have cameras on my every move and a panic button on a chain around my neck, and possibly some mean dogs chained up in my yard. Those police calls come in so fast you can't even finish hearing one before you hear another and they're almost all involving guns and things like that!

edit 2 - police scannenr THREE DAYS IN A ROW while I was listening had calls of two white males going door to door and either saying they were from the gas company or slipping papers under the door both as a guise for them trying door knobs to see ifi they were looked and to peek in windows.

So yes they do normally go up to the door, the criminals there. And try the windows and walk right into garages and walk off with two bikes and a weedwhacker, that is honest to goodness another call I heard the other night!

I'm confused. Who's house was she at when the surveillance footage was taken? Was the camera attached to the house she was at?

Thanks GGE, I was wondering what everyone thought of this, and just sent you a PM, before I saw this post. :)

The camera was attached to a home owned by an anonymous man who would like to be known as "Frank" who supplied this video as an exclusive to an Ohio paper a few days ago. Since then the video has been shared with HLN and CNN and "Frank" has just yesterday, I believe it was, given an interview in which he said that he was aware of Elaina's injuries, as quoted on the last page.

There is a quote from MSM that I posted yesterday at some point that said that the house owned by this anon. person calling himself "Frank" is located 11 blocks from where Elaina went missing, and is near Raymer school. We all know Angela's' dad lives near Raymer school and his home is about 11 blocks from where Elaina went missing so we THOUGHT it may have been her dad, RS' house, but ferretmommy (Elaina's grandmother/Terry Sr's wife) stated that the video shows the porch clearly enough to know it is NOT RS' home, and she does not know whose home it is.

For those folks not from this area, this picture is beneath the High Level Bridge (AKA Anthony Wayne) on the East bank of the river looking South (upstream).
