Coloring, stickers, playdoh too!
Singing, dancing

Eating paste, learning how to skip rope and splashing through puddles.

Checking the thread before I finally get to have some rest, thinking of Elaina :please:

Praying for this precious baby girl and family. I can't understand WHY the Mother won't tell what really happened! Breaks my heart that so many children just go 'poof' in the night :(

I can't get this baby off my mind! Saddens me that this is the third 'lost' child that I have followed where the parents know something and are not telling what they know or did...

Toledo Police Sgt. Joe Heffernan says initial tests show hair found in the Maumee River by a fisherman over the weekend is human hair.

It is not yet known if the hair belongs to missing 1-year-old Elaina Steinfurth. Police say DNA tests to determine that could take weeks.

Ugh. I hate to add to your list, but another case where the parents aren't talking is the Lisa Irwin case.

I keep checking in too, websleuths is a great distraction (my ex 32 weeker and almost one year old is in hospital and I need the distraction)

Little girls love

* dress ups
* make up
* tea parties
* baking
* sparkly & glittery stuff

A great activity I did as a kid was making Tshirts with fabric paints kept me amused for hours!

Sorry for the sidetracking...

Please let today be the last day little E is alone, please bring her home to her family x x my thoughts are with all the family x x

Yuck! I didn't like any of that stuff. Well...baking, but I was a chubby little thing who probably ate more raw dough than what made it into the oven. I liked to read, ride my bike and play ball. :blushing:

Just listen to them and love them! That's probably what they need the most. :moo:

Bless you, VA, for making a difference in their lives! :rockon:

How sad :( I know very little about Lisa's case. I can imagine that they are many more cases that the parents know something :( What is wrong with these parents!?

I have 4 wonderful children and 6 awesome grandchildren that I would give my life for! I just don't understand...

Unfortunately yes we are in hospital.. day 3 so far BUT he's getting much better :)

It's winter in Australia & he is on round 5 of bronchilitis (premmie complication apparently) and possible asthma.. So he's having some help breathing, we are hopeful that we may go home tomorrow, but we won't rush it...

I sidetracked again... Sorry

Come home baby Elaina, you have your wonderful family waiting for you, missing you and needing you back with them..

I only wish your (can I even call her a mother) would speak up and make things right...

Just like the Skelton brothers. Makes me tear up just thinking about them. Prayers every day for Elaina to return home and for the family to stay strong.

I really thought someone would have cracked by now. I think if it werent for the lawyers they would have. IMHO

It is raining like mad here in Toledo today...hot, humid awful day.

  • #335
Hopefully the rain with stop in time for the vigil at 7:00. I'll still be there, but don't know if the candle will stay lit.

Just being there will be all of the light Elaina needs

Got a call from TS about 10 minutes ago - vigil is still on. Still raining, but seems to be letting up a bit. Standing in a bit of rain is the least we can do for Elaina after all she's been through.

Aww I wish I could be up there for Elaina's vigil.

I wish I could be there. I have 2 little red headed terrors (not really) running around but my thoughts will be with your family tonight.

Thanks to everyone that sent advice or encouragement about the nieces. We have tackled grocery shopping, bathing suit shopping and toy shopping (see a pattern here? I know my strengths) without me pulling my hair out or forever traumatizing either of them so I'm feeling better.
