GUILTY OH - Emilliano Terry, 3, Cleveland, 25 November 2012

  • #381
Good lord. And he's only 19? :banghead:

Yep, only 19 with three children. I feel for him, it's a tough thing to experience no matter the age, it's tough that he'll deal with the guilt/regret of not really being able to be Emilliano's daddy. But I pray that this very unfortunate experience will make him into the best daddy he can be to his other 2 kids.

So sorry to be rude--but have these people considered condoms or BCP's....To be 19 and have already fathered 3 children is not cool IMHO!!!!!
No wonder these poor children have such tough lives.

re: bcp's and condoms: our son was born as a pleasant surprise and while we were getting back on our feet you bet your bottom dollar I immediately went to planned parenthood and since we were NOT married and did not have the usual health insurance -- my IUD was FREE. those things are like $6-700 out of pocket. Its just that no one takes the darn time to get that help.

I'm still so very upset about this.

You're not rude. You're realistic. 19 with 3 kids is irresponsible and the only ones who suffer are the children. Reminds me of the Maury show. <shudder>

Get these people condoms and birth control for pete's sake!

This case eats at my soul. I might have to take a break from WS for awhile. I am so mad :furious: at this 🤬🤬🤬 and so very sad for little Emiliano. Such a sweet, precious soul! This case just makes me so sick to my stomach, and I wonder how many others are out there right now, suffering? I wish I could win the lottery and open my house to every mistreated kid. It just makes me sick!

Could not ask Mom to ID body due to decomp :(

Reporter insinuating that mom may have deliberately wrapped him in multiple bags to speed up decomp. She's not that educated IMO. She may just have wanted to avoided a mess; perhaps learning from the other "mother" who dumped her daughter like trash and spillage caused a stinky trunk.

(MY BOLD) I wish she would be locked up in a room with that baby's body for days! And that goes for all the baby-killers.

I believe LE stated she had placed him in 4 or 5 bags. Those poor authorities when they had to search thru that. I just can't envision finding a child's body in a trash bag...that had just been removed from a dumpster.

Cannot comprehend how someone could do this to anyone, let alone a child. At 3 they are so cute because they are finally a "little person", blabbing away and so inquisitive..absorbing everything.

I hope whoever takes the remaining children can take them both. That would just be another tragedy the 5 yr old will have to go through if not.

The five year old kept pointing to the dumpster. I bet they were asking him where he last saw his brother. :( God bless him. He is old enough, unfortunately, to remember this. This man had to face his mother's killer/his attacker as the attacker acted as his on attorney; he was 5 when this happened and testified as an adult:

http://abcnews.go.com/US/stabbing-s...nt-suspected-strangling-mom/story?id=17264919

That story is beyond heartbreaking! I just cannot imagine the emotional toll it took for him to testify. It's like he was instantly that scared 5 year old little boy, looking for his mom. I wish I could give him a hug!! And of course I feel so saddened for the brother in this case. I just can't imagine what sadness this baby boy is carrying around in his heart. It seriously makes me cry every time I try to imagine this horror through the eyes if a child! Omg. :(

Sa d part is if they went to family planning, Metro hospital etc. they would get birth control free. They are too lazy to use it. then they wonder why AIDS is rampant there! I am really mad. This is uncalled for! The parents dont suffer, the kids do.:banghead: :seeya:

The amount of cash assistance she would have been eligible to recieve is based on the number of people in the household. The maxmimum cash benefit for an assistance group size of four is $564. The benefit is the same regardless of whether the assistance group is composed of two parents and two children or one parent and three children. If any of the fathers paid child support that exceeded that monthly allotment, she wouldn't be eligible for cash.

The maximum benefit allotment for food assistance for an assistance group size of four is $668, and it's the same, based on assistance group size and income.

Hi, I know everyone is tired of hearing about years ago but honest one never heard of the carp we hear of today. If a baby was born to a teen or anyone else alone for that matter she was responsible along with the family being expected to care for the child. Yes they went after the father if they knew who it was. no food stamps, no rent, no spending money for carp, no cell phones, no cars, if you had that you sold it to live. families did take responsibility for the situation. let me tell you the father of the"one in trouble" watched that minor like a hawk. They were reprimanded for their wrong doing. One thing good that came out of that was help for parents of handicapped children. I know they recieved nothing even in the 60's as we had a child in our family. IMO.:seeya:

This <unusual person> has no excuse! The link above shows 2 grandmas who wanted custody of their grandsons......"mom" didn't want THAT kind of help, though. :furious:

------------
You are right on. She wouldnt give them up, they are her get things free ticket. Five years from now remind the "man", if he remembers. The only ones who care for these babies are the grandmothers and their hands have been tied. :seeya:

That must have depended on where you lived. I knew women/girls in the '60s who were unwed mothers and received a lot of assistance including ADC (Aid for Dependent Children), Food Stamps, Rental Assistance/low income housing, and other things I know I'm forgetting. Of course, I also knew some unwed mothers who did insist on working to support their families, and some were helped by family because they didn't want to accept charity. I also knew a few families with disabled children who got some extra help for them.

From what I have read he is not the father of the other 2....I believe they each have a different father!

----------------------------
Hi, he has two other children with different women. He and his mother are trying to get custody of Emillias body for burial. DNA proves he is the father but his name is not on B/C..a funeral director will bury him for no charge. There was some sort of violence at the home between mother and father of 5 month old. They are trying to find a suitable relative to care for the remaining two children. Just check newsnet5.com or fox8.com :seeya:

I lived in Cleveland. They have had low income housing for a long time. In the 50's and 60's they didnt have food stamps in Ohio, not that I know of.Yes some do support their children as best they can. They should recieve aid and they do now. I'm not against helping anyone but they should be willing to help themselves at the same time, as in using b/c..:what:
