Youngstown: Body found in house, police looking for missing son and boyfriend

Detectives have been called to a house on Fairgreen Avenue near Juanita Avenue in Youngstown, where a woman's body has been found.

Police say they were doing a welfare check when they discovered the body of Alouvise Harris inside. Harris' family members told police they hadn't heard from her in a few days.

The house belongs to Harris, who lives there with her boyfriend, 45-year-old Maurice Lloyd, and their 2-year-old son Glover Lloyd, both of which were not at the house at the time.

Police are currently trying to find Lloyd and the child to confirm they are safe and to talk to Lloyd about the incident.

At this time, the cause of death is unknown.

A 2 year old baby is missing and his mom was found dead in their home. And the police are all "oh, we just wanna see how dad and baby are doing". This guy is either known to the police to be very dangerous, or YPD cops are not too bright. Unfortunately I think it's the former.

No updates that I can find as of right now.

I assumed they were using light wording in hopes the adult will return willingly and without hurting the child. They might plan on arresting him on sight, but IMO their biggest goal is to bring the child back safely.

I have no doubt this is what they intend to do, but they're a bit too see-through... I hope Maurice won't notice tho. Still no updates that I can find.

Boyfriend, son of woman still missing
Chief of Detectives Capt. Brad Blackburn said an autopsy is expected to be performed today on Alouvise Harris, who was found dead by police about 4 p.m. in her apartment.
Blackburn said there were no obvious signs of foul play when Harris was found but detectives are concerned because there is no sign of her boyfriend, Maurice Lloyd, 45, nor their son, Glover Floyd, 2.

^^ I wonder if there really are no signs of foul play or if this is just a chill pill for the boyfriend.

Missing Youngstown father and toddler found in Cleveland
According to Youngstown Police Captain Brad Blackburn, Maurice Lloyd and his two-year-old son Glover Lloyd were located in Cleveland and both are safe.
Police did not provide more information about the circumstances under which the toddler was located, but say that the Mahoning County Coroner found no indications of foul play related to the death of the child's mother, Alouvise Harris, who was found in her home at the corner of Fairgreen and Juanita Avenues on the city's North Side on Friday.
The coroner is working to complete a toxicology report before determining the cause of Harris' death.
