Prosecutor says she would expect Jason Wesche is suspect one. "Because that is what we do we judge people by looks."

I am sure Jason kicks himself that he didn't push harder every time Hannah came home with a bruise, the prosecutor says.

"I am sure he wishes he had just a few more minutes back," prosecutor say of Jason on the last day of his daughter's life.

Prosecutor says the defense wants you to believed Partin was Jason Wesche's patsy. But her text messages do not show that. "She is a woman who knows exactly what she wants."

Thanks for posting the updates! I think Jason didn't push harder about the bruises because Partin was related to his boss.

Prosecutor says Partin knew about the bruise on the back of Hannah's head because she caused them. Medical folks did not see the bruising until the child's head was shaved at autopsy. Points out Partin talked about them during questioning by cops.

If you believed Partin told the truth on the stand and that she lied to the police, then the only person she did not protect was Hannah Wesche, prosecutor says. "She effected that justice would not be done for Hannah."

You are more than likely right about that. I would bet Partin was upset that she miscarried and took it ot on Hannah.

Prosecutor picking apart Dr. Spitz's testimony using sections of his book to counter some of what he said. Also noting he did not look at medical procedure records that were performed on Hannah.

Prosecutor says Spitz said there was not sigmacant brain swelling, but the doctor who operated on Hannah said the swelling was so great that the brain was being pushed.

I don't think the defense said some very smart comments. That is just my opinion though.
I'm feeling better about it now that the prosecutor is cleaning up after the defense. I need to have more faith in the jury but sometimes it's hard after following some other cases.

I always feel the defense needs to come across strong. They only get one chance to speak so they better be very confident in what they say. I didn't think she spoke long or about enough things. I know they don't have to prove anything. When you have only one chance you need to point out facts, if you have any.

I just found about this case. Poor little Hannah. What a tragedy all around, from her mom being an opiate addict to the impact on her short brutal little life and sad death. I haven't watched the testimony, but Partin's changing stories sound like the kind of self-serving B.S. many abusers spew when caught. Wonder who paid for Dr. Spitz - he's very well-renowned and not cheap, I'm sure! That does worry me in terms of the jury. I hope Hannah gets justice, but I won't be too surprised if there is a mistrial.
