Where is garbage pick up? On the street or in the alley? And was it garbage pick up day on the 20th?

If Harley went all the way to the hospital before turning toward school, why isn't he seen on any hospital survelliance?

What time does the school allow students to enter the building? Do they offer breakfast before school?

Can a local please drive the route at 6:08 am with a passenger video taping Harleys likely route?

Has every single person in every single home along Harleys route to school been interviewed? That route needs to be canvassed. Search dogs and cadaver dogs need to canvas the route.

The Chief said in the Dec 26 press conference that Harley would normally go south down that alley and then later east toward school. He did not specify whether Harley would normally turn east halfway between Fifth and Sixth (on the alley that turns east mid block there) or whether he would go south the full block until he hit the Hospital parking lot and then turn east. Perhaps they don't know.

Having walked this path a couple weeks ago several ways and thinking with a teenage boy brain of "whatever is quickest / easiest" it seemed best to go straight down the alley and cut across the hospital parking lot to get to Fulton then cross over to the High School.

It is also possible that he went down the second ally to the west to get to Fulton but it would be kinda backtracking to do so as he's on the corner of Fulton and 5th.
So he'd walk east down 5th, down the ally, then west down the short ally. It's almost a circle back to his house and wouldn't likely be the way he was going.

Here's a photo of the entrance to the ally. That houses garage does face the ally but to the best of my recollection the ones on the west all face Fulton. You can also tell from the road that this ally is not heavily car traveled. Most likely for the house shown to get to their garage.

I was really disturbed by revealing such personal information about this child. Discussing/revealing someone’s bathroom habits is over the line. I understand they may be asking the general public to keep an eye out for a bathroom obsessed kid, but I still think it was unnecessary, and humiliating to the child. That seems to be a trend with this case. Poor Harley. Grrrr....

I think whoever has him,has a spike in water usage. I hope they can get meter reads for the area. Also I think someone was grooming him online. So they could watch him in the bath. Make him believe it's no big deal. Gaining his trust, "I can make you a star". We can blow up YouTube" "Don't listen to mom, it's our little secret". Etc like these pervs do. They might have had a secret code. For meeting up, in case his phone got taken away. Maybe he broke intentionally to make it hard for mom to find what was going on.

It all depends on how water is billed. Our water is billed per thousand gallons used. It doesn't show specific gallons. It just goes to the next 1000. Whether I use 3001 gallons or 3999 gallons, The cost would be the same.

If someone has Harley, who's to say they are even allowing him to bathe whenever he wants.

Sorry to hear that.

It's wonderful that members of HD's community are turning out to help look for him.

The likelihood of searchers being able to spot any evidence in a downpour is extremely remote.

Having said that, at this point, any effort is definitely worth the effort.

HD needs to be found.

During my study this morning, I discovered numerous gaming conferences (many Madden), across the nation, and world. Do we know if Harley attended any of these in the past? There were all over, including Ohio.

I've been reading everything I can find about Harley's case from MSM to gossipy sites. I've been peeling away the noise and trying to piece together the beacons of info we believe are factual.

I keep coming back to one point that stands out for me.

The day it is believed Harley disappeared (Dec 20), he reportedly stepped in to his Mother's darkened bedroom and said he wasn't feeling well and didn't want to go to school. Without turning on the lights or investigating this lament further, the mother instructed Harley to go to school anyway. The mother's dismissive action *suggests* that this was a common lament of Harley's. (Speculation only).

However, given Harley's missing status, I am going to accept his claim of "not feeling well" as being real. When a child claims not feeling well, this could mean:
a) They are physically ill (fever, stomach ache, etc.)
b) They have a project or test at school they aren't ready for
c) They have anxiety because of a situation like bullying, or having to speak in front of the class, undressing in a locker room, or a million other possibilities
d) They know there is an impending event such as a fight that they have to face
e) They have done something wrong and can't face the consequences

That's not an exhaustive list, but it does cover a lot of categories. If forced to choose one of the above as my prime speculation, I am torn between d and e, but will choose d. I think Harley had someone after him, he knew, and either they caught him, or he took off to avoid them.

I appreciate your list and when some earlier posts mentioned that HD saying he didn't feel well and didn't want to school may have been because he was afraid of someone and may have been being stalked/threatened by someone I thought to myself, why wouldn't he just tell his parents? Maybe he was afraid of stressing his mom out - having watched the video in which he talks about her having had a stroke and a heart attack it seems that, even though they may have had a rocky relationship (what teen/parent doesn't?), I sensed that he was worried about her health. Also, maybe he had been told by his parents not to do certain things online and was afraid that he would be in trouble if he revealed he was being stalked/threatened as a result of those activities that he had been doing anyway.

The reason I say this is twofold:

Woods, and water.

Both are within walking distance of his home.
It can be incredibly difficult to find bodies in either of those environments.
Some are never located.

The fact that no cameras picked HD up beyond the alley may mean he was picked up by someone on his way to school.

Alternatively, it may mean that somewhere along the alley, he took a left turn instead of a right one, and began moving away from the school rather than toward it.

A person posted on Talk of Port Clinton (Original) Facebook site yesterday or day before that she heard a pack of coyotes in the morning near Wilcox Rd (which is a few blocks south of the high school and is south of the freeway). She said that has seen a coyote on Fulton Rd, which is the road that passes east of the high school.

It's happened that a coyote has attacked a person as large as Harley, but is very unusual and I'd expect that others would hear Harley scream or yell to summon help. However, if a pack of coyotes is in the area prowling at night that could mean movement of remains if they discover them before LE does, so the passage of time before his disappearance was reported might have allowed that.
