Boyfriend of Warren woman found dead Sunday is now missing

Jerry Hughley, 35, of Hamilton Street Southwest, boyfriend of a woman who was found shot to death early Sunday, was reported missing Monday afternoon.

The Warren police report says Hugley disappeared about 6 p.m. Saturday.

His girlfriend, Brittany May, 28, of the same Hamilton address, was found shot to death on Front Street Southwest near the former Warren Western Reserve High School at 12:06 a.m. Sunday – about six hours after Hughley went missing.

Boyfriend of Warren murder victim is missing

The boyfriend of the Warren woman who was found murdered on the southwest side of the city early Sunday morning has been reported missing.

Jerry Hughley, 35, was last seen by family members at around 6 p.m. Saturday. They reported him missing on Monday afternoon.

According to police reports, Hughley and Brittany May shared the same Hamilton Street address. Another report from January listed the two as a couple.

Police say Hughley isn't in any trouble, but his family is worried.

He is the father of 6 children. Hoping he isn't a victim like his gf or the suspect in her murder.

A body found Sunday evening in a wooded area off Risher Road SW is believed to be the missing boyfriend of a woman found shot to death last week.

The site is about a mile southwest of Deemer Park. The body of May, 28, was found by a passer-by the morning of July 22 on Front Street near Raiders Path next to the park at the site of the former Warren Western Reserve High School.

A week ago today, family members reported that May’s boyfriend, Hughley, 35, was missing and hadn’t been seen since July 21. He and May had shared a home on Hamilton Street SW.
