I believe he was referring to the mother of the suspect. IMO.Wait, who did he say they didn't think was trying to avoid them? I missed it.

I live just north of Indianapolis and it just started snowing heavily. Temperature supposed to get down to -8 degrees tonight with windchill up to -40 below.Suspect is found, but the baby and the car are still missing. I wonder if she left the baby in the car somewhere. He is not going to make it if so.

Surely the car would have been found if it was at the airport. Dayton airport isn’t that big, lots of security and cameras. JMOI fear he's still in the car. At the airport.
I feel ill.

I agree, they must have searched the airport. Also, she made it to Indiana, she probably drove there. But now the car and the child are missing. She probably parked the car with the child in it somewhere in Indiana?Surely the car would have been found if it was at the airport. Dayton airport isn’t that big, lots of security and cameras. JMO
Hoping they would have thoroughly searched the airport.
Local news here is reporting that some indianapolis residents saw here on foot and thought they recognized her, they called Indianapolis police department.I agree, they must have searched the airport. No doubt they will try to question her. But like you said, she is not playing with a full deck.Best bet right now is to somehow get her to share information on what she did with the baby, rather than blind searching in freezing cold weather which would take a significant amount of time - however, if what they have said is true, and she is indeed a schizophrenic off her meds, this could be a long, painful and futile process.

Agree that information from her is the best chance of finding the baby. Or if they find anyone who has been around the suspect in the last couple of days. I get the feeling that finding some of her (suspect's) family, especially mother would be helpful.
