that's another flip phone. the case looks too long for a flip phone and her phone did not look like one...but the case that was found did not have a pad for buttons, just a screen and speaker, that's why I was thinking maybe it wasn't a case, but the front part of the phone, but that still may not explain the no buttons.

Ok I think I have figured out what you mean about the front part having a screen but no buttons. Let me see if I can find any pics of that.

The young girl that first posted that she found the phone, she said it was the road that's haunted.

Edit: the young girl who claimed to find the phone, it didn't sound like it was an organized search, especially since she specifically said the phone was in her car....maybe she was with the team that found it and just wanted to mess around? (odd, but stranger things. . . ) Or if she's telling the truth and the search party is now claiming to have found it wth is going on?

2nd Edit: The people on that page jumped at her for lying/being a hoax....if it was the search party they would have known about it, no? Maybe it's not hers and NG just got a hold of it from the girl....but why would the girl take the hoax that far?

The picture of the phone in her hand was not a flip phone like that. I guess I meant slider phone?

For some reason I thought a phone battery, shoe, one other thing were found during the search. JC and her father said they were not Katelyn's. This was a phone that was found at a different time by a 17 yr old girl. Am I mistaken?

I'm not a member but I am able to read both facebook pages. One is called Missing! Bring Katelyn Markham Home and the other is Katelyn Markham's Disappearance: Considering Everything. Not sure which one has the info about them being at the fair. Never found that but there is a lot to read.

Ok from a slightly lengthier google search this may possibly be a slider blackberry pearl? Looks pretty much the same.

That looks like a flip top to me. My sliders both slid to the right not to the top.

If you READ it... it was a silver phone. This was not the girl that found the red phone. I don't think this girl has any information or evidence to add to the case. JMO She's not credible at all...

I'm an incurrable romantic and with all my heart I hope and pray that JC didn't do anything to Katelyn. I realize it looks really bad for him but we also have to remember NG can edit and cut as they go to make things much more dramatic. JC doesn't verbalize well. Whether this is his norm or just because he's upset and nervous plus a little tote or two, I don't know.

OK, now that I've said that I'm ready..........let me have it!

You are correct. My eyes are too blurry...I swore I wasn't going to stay up late again tonight....*sigh* bed time.... (Also I did not find the post until much later than when I first brought it up....I just remembered seeing it.)

JeannieC.. I totally agree with you. They seemed like the BEST of friends and had so many common interests... Sigh. Their pics together showed a couple that enjoyed each other and JC seemed so dedicated to KM

Remember JC saying in the 911 call about the Sacred Heart festival, and the ahhh unusual (???) people there? Was this a deliberate deflection from himself? A way to try to get the focus onto someone that was at it, that they may have hurt/got her?? Point to it, even though he also attended?

I am really wondering about those dumpsters- I would venture to guess if any extras were brought in , they woudl be hauled off pretty quick on Mon- and LE hadn't really started searching until then, did they??

And it was less than 2000 ft to the festival- I doubt KM or C would have driven there??

I hope they scoured every bit of property across from her townhouse from River Rd to Pleasant, and Pattereson to Brookfield

Well I just watched NG again and I'll never get past the feeling I had when JC said "NO" to her question about the poly. I hope FF PD reads here and if so please get Chief Dickey in front of a camera and get us a little info....LIKE WHY HASN'T HE BEEN ASKED TO TAKE A POLY......yes I screamed that at 2 a.m.

The group I lovingly call "The Enforcers" sure haven't been as vocal today, I wonder if they already knew he was going to come "clean" on NG tonight about his "misunderstanding"?

Will just pray all day tomorrow that Tim brings her home to her dad, her dad deserves that regardless of the outcome.

Was it even a festival in the true sense of the word? I mean, did they bring in a carnival crew or did the church run it? I could see him being wary of the carnies but if it was all 'locals" volunteering their time and effort then how are they "undesirables?" I doubt he was speaking of the attendees.. was he?

I am just wondering if he smokes a lot of pot and that is why he is so iffy with his facts. Why do you think they call it dope?

I do not get 'bad' feelings from him, like I do from the Powells for example. But his stories seem so off. Like tonight when he told NG that he never took a polygraph. WTH?

And his whole thing about trying to make her feel better about 'missing' the burning of her bank stuff, so he tells her she can watch HIS papers burn? THAT makes no sense at all. I think the reason she wanted to see her stuff burn was to feel confident it was fully destroyed. Why would she want to see him burn his stuff? Weird.
