I refreshed the page, not sure if it said this before:
"The person's identity has not been released." <------- That would lead me to believe they might know the identity? Which, if able to ID that fast, could make Katelyn a real possibility.

Who is gonna do the current maps from Fairfield to Falmouth, KY? (IT is Falmouth, not Falmounth like the news site says!)

Doesn't the little miami river feed into the Ohio? Answering my own question - yes!

If memory serves me from flood and flood levels all these years living here - when the Ohio crests, it is a few days later that the licking river crests. So I assume (risk taker that I am!) the river flow south or downward toward the licking.
I found a site I think can tell us - but - beats me how to enter this data!

So, I can see something, but not sure what. I took a pic of my phone - can you mark my pic where you see it in paint?

Zoom in on the red box. The upper left corner and left side of the cell phone (with dark border/case) can be seen in detail from the light of the flash.

I'll draw what I'm seeing and post the drawing too if anyone is interested.

They are two different bodies. The body found late Saturday night in the Licking River is believed to be that of 32-year-old Larry Lee:

I think it's different - the male's body was found a couple of weeks ago: (ETA: sorry - this may be different - it actually says "earlier this month" but do they mean August or September? It's really sad - but if you google deaths along Ohio River - boy oh boy there are way too many... ... and I think there was a body of a male found Aug 15. But wasn't the one from earlier tonight the Licking River? And this male's body was the Ohio River? Or am I getting confused - it is 5:30am here after all)

Actually his sister said he doesn't drive by her place on the way to work. And now that I know which Papa John's he worked at, looking at a map, I can see that he probably wouldn't.

You're making my point. That's what I mean - I don't think he took the pic. If he's the one who sent the picture text, I think he simply sent it from her phone. Any other explanation is convoluted.

Then again, Dime Detective's scenario of him taking the photo with HIS phone while in her room while putting the dog back, because her phone was downstairs in his car and he was afraid of running in and out again... that could work.

Im not sure which of them is wiccan, but someone in this scenario is. It was discussed very early on the first face book event page that has since been deleted.

It was brought up only by one particular individual (who also says he's a detective, calls Wiccans "freaks" and implies that they're dangerous - false), and he has never elaborated on the Wicca angle or answered any question I've asked about it.

Im not suggesting anything in particular. I simply looked up wiccan on the world wide web. You can look back at the beginning of this thread to find out exactly how and where the wiccan thing came up. It was referenced to on the facebook page and I had no idea what the world wicca meant so I looked it up. There multiple wiccan sites.Some of the rituals are performed with ceremonial ash.
If you have some knowledge of the wiccan way, perhaps you could enlighten us.

I don't know how far apart cell towers are. But he mentioned the friend's was "across town" - which could mean across the township - no clue how far that might be. At least a few miles, probably.

The Licking River in Kentucky flows north and empties into the Ohio River right opposite downtown Cincinnati. So I don't think bodies from Ohio can drift downstream to Falmouth; it'd be against the current.

I still believe Katelyn opened the door that night, probably half asleep thinking it was JC, or went out for a smoke.
I opened the door at 1am myself 15 years ago, thinking it was my husband...instead it was a man out on bond, he had arrested for agg. assault, and the fight was on at the front door! It was a hard lesson, but when a mama is protecting her babies....I was very lucky that night!
I still do not feel JC has done anything wrong, I hope I am right on this one!

Unless it comes from his own mouth, I would take whatever is said on FB with a grain of salt. Someone may not like him or even know him who may post things.

JC's own credibility seems pretty questionable at this point, but the person who heard him say it is an extremely credible woman who has been working tirelessly to help with the searches. JC apparently talked about it during the most recent search, in front of her and 5 witnesses. Another woman on FB added that she was one of the 5 witnesses and heard it too.

When people were expressing doubt because it hadn't been brought up in these 3 weeks, an FB poster I've never seen in that group before said, Just because you guys didn't hear it sooner doesn't mean it isn't true. He said he heard JC mention a friend being over that night during the very first organized search (dunno the date of that but it was a good while back).

A couple of JC's friends/family members then said no one mentioned it before because it "didn't seem important." Well, I find that hard to believe, since we've all been struggling to get an accurate timeline and begging to know who saw Katelyn last besides JC, and no one has ever provided an answer! If it was no big deal and such a simple answer, AND supposedly gives him more of an alibi by showing he wasn't alone with Katelyn, why did NO one mention it? I find that pretty strange.

I am curious... it would be interesting to find out if JC and KMs phones have SIM cards that can be interchanged.

I bought a phone from T-Mobile, at the time DH didn't want to be on my plan. Well, he changed his mind so I went online, found a phone I liked better and ordered it. When it arrived, we switched out SIM cards so I could still keep my old number instead of taking a new one when I got the phone.

Depending on the make of the phone, the SIM card was inserted a certain way (like on Samsung the logo faced up, but on LGs you faced it down, etc etc)

I'm curious if JC was able to do this and send himself that pic of KM... as soon as he takes it, he sends it to his number, switches out the SIM cards, and that could even allot for the missing time between the pics being sent and when his number received it. (He removes battery while putting SIM card back so her phone shuts off)

Just thinking out loud....
