Can someone bump the map of where she was found in relation to her town home and general area of her boyfriends family farm? I'm on tapatalk and its giving me trouble when I try to load old posts.

It's heavily wooded. I walked through the cedar forests on a google map the other night when the remains were found. At the time, I thought they might be Lauren Spierer.

Markham was last seen by her fiancee the night of August 13, 2011. When he didn't hear from her the next day, he reported her missing.

I've followed this case as a lurker since the beginning- never really had a feeling one way or the other about what may have happened to her.

What a cryin' shame - lovely young lady............so sad.

I'm with you, I found Katelyn's case through Lauren Spierer's case and have only "lurked". I just learned about Katelyn from Lauren's thread. I wasn't as prepared as I thought I would be with this news. I'm just devastated that someone could snuff out such a beautiful light. My only consolation is that now her family can bring her home and lay her to rest properly.

To the perpetrator - justice WILL be had and may it be quick and merciless!!!

im another one that has followed katelyn's case since the very beginning. i even joined WS the same month she went missing. she was one of just a couple of cases i followed right when i joined. i'll never forget katelyn and i will follow this case until she gets justice. i hope it doesn't take too long to pin this on someone, she deserves much more than being tossed on the side of the road somewhere. i hope whoever put her there is sweating a little bit right now... and i hope their friends and family notice the change in this person's behavior.
