That's the problem. Many times now opinions are considered facts.
When real professional journalists actually reported the news they gave the VETTED facts only, and they never ever gave their opinions they knew were totally irrelevant about any story because they were trained to only report the facts they had verified before reporting.
Imo, most of professional journalism here is a thing of the past. It doesn't seem to even matter if the opinions are full of misinformation. It's destroying the trust. Polls show the media polls are extremely low now when it comes to being trustworthy.
I don't even know which channel JR is on, but I know several MSM are drastically dropping in viewer ratings overall.
I think even those that did watch regularly are tired of the misinformation only to find out it's wrong by going elsewhere for those who are more trustworthy, and for not covering cases that are huge stories that warrant a lot of coverage. The picking, and choosing of big stories to cover, and ones they choose not cover has become a turn off too, imo. It's reflected in the overall viewer rating decline of which one is trusted most, and which ones who aren't.
They got a big temporary boost because of GF being killed as they should have covered it extensively. Imo, the ratings will begin to fall again.
