New York man arrested in probe of missing Colerain Township teen

The investigation into the disappearance of a Colerain Township teen has led to the arrest of a Buffalo, New York, man.

She was previously seen getting into a black Jeep Cherokee with New York plates. License plate readers confirmed that 43-year-old Kyle Lawrence rented the vehicle, according to court papers.

Authorities said Lawrence told agents he communicated with Fields on Snapchat and came to Cincinnati twice to meet up with her. According to the FBI, the first visit between the two was on January 19th at a hotel near CVG. He also told the FBI that he had child sexual abusive material on his devices.

Additionally, authorities said Lawrence was reported to the FBI last year and confronted by a vigilante group in Canada for allegedly going across the border to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex.

This man looks/seems like a downright monster.

CVG is the airport code for Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport. That airport is located in Hebron, Kentucky.

So that means that they met at at hotel somewhere in Kentucky near the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport.

I wonder if he faced any criminal charges in Canada after trying to meet the underage teen girl for immoral purposes.

I would say he likely caught the attention of Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and Canadian immigration authorities.

So it would be safe to say that he's likely persona non grata in Canada.

We know she had met this NY man before (at least twice, it would appear) and they communicated on snapchat.
If she was going to meet him again the day she disappeared, why would they need to communicate on a different app and using "Josh" as a pseudonym?

I wonder if this time it is someone else, maybe even someone that she met through this Lawrence guy.
