Unbelievable! So what story did her parents give to LE? They set her down in some random state and don’t remember where? I wonder if they lawyered up and refused to be interviewed. There isn’t much online at all regarding her disappearance.

This should have made headlines. Appalling.

Wow, this is unbelievable! What do Mayeen's parents do for a living? How did they lose a toddler? Why didn't they call the police immediately to report their daughter missing? Mayeen could be anywhere.

When is her birthday? There's a big difference between a few months and almost a year in terms of recognizing her.

why would they do so much travelling? work? criminal enterprise?

Is there a picture of little mayeen and her parents?

There is a photo but it's on a scammy website that charges $ to be a member and obtain info about missing persons. The info seems AI generated and dubious. Hoping more info hits MSM now that this case is in NAMUS.

I wish they would name the parents.

There are photos of Mayeen on Namus, and I'm curious about when they were taken.

One feet is very, very tiny for a newborn, let alone for a one years old child. If that info comes from the parents, they have no idea how big Mayeen is, or how big a healthy toddler should be, which does not bode well.

It should have made headlines, but they travelled through so many states, where does LE even look?
Especially for a baby. You can't really recognize a tiny baby in April based on what they looked like in January unless they're very distinctive looking.

The photo on NAMUS looks like she's in a car to me. I wonder what "investigation" showed them she was in the car. Scent tracking dogs? Witness accounts? Photos on a phone?

what on earth? HOW am I just reading about this here, how is this not national big news??

MOO - the photos on NAMUS are a bit alarming. Mayeen looks severely underweight, her skin is sagging.

Oh my gosh I just figured out how to see the additional photos. Those photos are horrific. That is NOT a healthy baby. I've had a newborn hospitalized for failure to thrive and he didn't look anywhere near that bad. Poor Mayeen. I was hoping it had been some kind of illegal adoption but after seeing those photos I think she died and they hid her body somewhere.

I can't understand why the identity of the parents is being protected. There is no way the public would recognize the baby from the pictures. The pictures are heartbreaking, and we all know that odds are not good for a happy outcome. The parents need to be held accountable. If their pictures are publicized, tips might come in that would help narrow down their locations with or without the baby.

Those pictures are disturbing. I've never seen an infant anywhere near that thin.

I'm shocked that this story seemingly hasn't been covered AT ALL. I can't find anything aside from her NamUs page and the previously mentioned sketchy website that doesn't have any extra info.

Maybe homeless and living out of the car? I wonder if substance abuse is/was going on with this family given the circumstances and the pictures we do have. I sure hope she doesn’t have any siblings in danger.
