I don't know how I missed seeing this article when it was originally posted on Sept 20. It answers some questions that we had.

Baby Mayeen was born in December 2024.

We wondered who took the pictures that are posted on NamUs. According to this article, the parents were stopped for a traffic check in Kansas on April 17, 2025. Their phones were searched, and pictures of the baby were found, indicating a rapid decline of her health over a period of several months.

A US Marshals Service spokesman says that the public's help in locating the parents is urgent, because the baby is defenseless. My question: Why, then, is this story not being broadcast far and wide? Why are the parents pictures not being broadcast nationally? It is believed that they are back in the Columbus, OH area, but LE acknowledges that they have traveled to many states and could be anywhere.
