Midvale mom arrested, accused of 'child torture' of 4-month-old baby

A Midvale woman was arrested Tuesday and accused of abusing her 4-month-old daughter by putting her face over hot steam and taping her hands and mouth.

Lizbeth Hurtado-Breton, 36, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of child torture and two counts of aggravated child abuse.

Lizbeth Hurtado-Breton, 36, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of child torture and two counts of aggravated child abuse.

But how did the husband / father know so many details of the abuse... and not have done anything sooner to get this child to safety.

SO THE FATHER KNEW HIS WIFE WAS TORTURING THEIR BABY AND CONTINUED TO GO TO WORK LEAVING SAID CHILD WITH MOTHER?

He not only knew, but had photographic evidence. And yet continued to leave that baby there every day? Poor wee thing.

Any news of the little one? Assuming the little one is in the hospital. What can be done to make her heal in some way?
