Oh brother. Not another one of these I'm gonna hope for the best even though the worst is very probable.

Hegler is one of Nyteisha’s neighbors. Local 12 stopped by her apartment building and spoke with Hegler and another neighbor who said she was involved in an incident with Nyteisha and her boyfriend just weeks ago.

“Her mom, her and her little boy were sitting out on the steps,” recalled Tamara Paddock. “[Nyteisha’s boyfriend] was on the front porch and would not let them in. She was crying. She asked if we could help. I had my kid; my boyfriend had my other child and he wouldn’t let us in the door.”

I wonder if she attempted to get away after that incident, whether there is any chance she left him with someone who does not know she died....??
Unlikely. That poor girl.
Are the arrest warrants publicly available, I wonder?

Her body was found at the Purple People Bridge, and the stoller was found at Yeatman's Cove, which is sort of under the bridge.

Oh, dear -- I don't like the spot where the stroller was found. It's just too near the river, to say the least, and a quick place to "get rid" of something.
When I saw the first article, my heart sank -- same as many of you, I'm sure. She is gone, and in such a cruel way -- she was surely in severe pain and certainly worrying about her little Nylo. What would he do without her? And now we worry for her -- where is he?

Will there be one funeral or two? SMH.

We're seeing another horror, and this one occurs at a time when there should be much happiness, joy and celebration, be it Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply private joy and hope.
Prayers for Nylo and those who knew and loved him.

I saw on Nyteisha’s Facebook that Nyteisha had suffered a miscarriage a few months back. Maybe this has something to do with the friends saying that.

The miscarriage was a few months ago, and Nylo is 3. So the first child would have to have been born more than 3 years ago.

Mentioned on local news Nylo’s older brother had been adopted to someone outside the family.

She was according to People article, a few posts up.On 11 November, according to same article. Nylo last seen Dec 4 and we do not know who it was that saw him , just that it was around lunchtime apparently. We have no idea how she spent her last week alive or where or whether she confided in anybody...

This is local to me and my brother in law is one of the divers in most cases. Haven’t heard if he is diving this one or not. ( we don’t speak often). The river in those areas in both sides of the river are full of broken limbs and trash and often that is where bodies are found (sorry). However; he is so small, I would think he would surface by now. So sad!

If the Aunt was the last one to see them on the 4th and no one has come forward that saw either one after that it is possible he was not missing on the 4th, just not seen by any one after that.
I unfortunately think both of them went together on the 11th.

Where’s Nylo? The search continues.
North Star International K9 Search and Recovery, a group made up of retired police detectives, are assisting in the search today.
They have several certified volunteers, dogs, a mapping system, drones and boats ready to help in the search for Nylo.
They are down by the river now.
We have a crew there as well.

North Star International is out by the river today continuing to search for Nylo Lattimore. There are multiple K9 teams. They’re planning to search about 20 miles of river line.

Someone must have seen her in the course of that last week.
LE had 'witness statements' (People link)
He draped her bagged body over railings... why didn't he put her in the river ? Was he tired? How did he travel to the place where she was found? did he walk?
Did he want her found?
Why?
Did he stab Nylo too?
LE must have good reason to believe he is in the river to be devoting so many resources to searching it.
I spent several hours reading her facebook 'diary' last night... she tried so hard, so very hard... she really wanted to get it right and yet the odds were stacked against her. I found her posts to be most poignant and truthful...my heart broke for her and her little child.
So many of us made poor partner choices, yet we lived to heal and to survive and tell the tale.
She was tiny, she had no chance against his size and strength.
Clearly, he's not talking, he will not tell them what he did with Nylo.
No remorse.

"Growing concern has risen through our investigation in interviewing Desean Brown...growing concern to the point that this event with Nylo may involve foul play," Saunders said.

"We're greatly concerned about his whereabouts," Saunders said. "We want the public to know we're doing everything we can to locate Nylo."
