Crime Stoppers issued a $25,000 rewardto anyone with information leading to the discovery of Adkins.

Crime Stoppers say no one, including Adkins’ daughter and family members, has heard from her, with financial and personal records showing no activity since her disappearance.

NBC News said police have interviewed Adkins’ boyfriend, and he has denied having anything to do with her disappearance. The Union County Sheriff’s Office said the boyfriend remains the primary suspect, though little evidence has been connected to him.

This might be a bit out there but if I was an investigating agent on this case I'd track where the lingerie was bought and if Patti had relayed any details to the shop assistant about where she was going, who she was going to see and what they would be doing out in the wilderness, I just think females would have a tendency to reveal those kinds of details similar to when they visit their nail tech or hairdresser...

There has to be a myriad of ways this case can be cracked; how odd to find a SPEC of blood on the bed of a truck??? and I also feel the loyalty between Brian Flowers and his wife is also a huge clue, how crazy is it that they still have access to internet and can also sleuth all of these conspiracy theories about what happened to his girlfriend...wild.

IMO, it can be cracked but it just needs a super onto it detective who can investigate it from all angles/sides..

yes...she gave her 80.000 savings to a con artist pretending to love her, saying hel get a divorce etc the usual bs, sad lady she believed it, that money should have gone to her small daughter when she reached 18 not some louse that killed her and got away with it.

If you do a search of her case, you’ll find out all the details pertaining to why she did that but, oong story short, it wasn’t taken out all at once. It was done over the course of about 2 yrs, give or take. It was supposedly to help him ‘buy out’ his portion of a biz he co-owned so his ‘soon to be ex wife’ wouldn’t be able to claim her share during a divorce.

She wasn’t a sad lady. She was just in love and thought it was mutual.
 
So.. Ive emailed everyone under the sun, as far as LE, Union County, NYSVicap, lead detective, Stiers, Local PD, Charley Project, Crime Stoppers, JaneDoe, etc etc.. Ive posted this on Patti's FB pages and removed it after talking to admins, for I felt it may, "hamper", if it was anything.. This was all started back in Sept or October. Since then, No one, I mean, NO ONE has replied back to me other than an automated message, "We will forward this tip to the next available or whoever". . Crime Stoppers said, "all we do is fwd the tip. Rest is up to agency & what they want to do." That's it. Ive said to please, tell me I'm wrong, just so I stop trying to get thru. That I understood, "protecting the case" is most important.. But all I got was, crickets.. I was under the impression, my "tip", was sent to appropriate channel.. 4 months now and still, no results. How long does DNA comparison take? Both samples are available. And why on a recorded call with the "lead detective, Stiers", does he more or less state, "I haven't looked at the case in awhile"?..

OK the suspense is over.. here's my tip that's gone unanswered and ignored. Maybe I am totally off the chain.. but im hoping, maybe my link will fit..

On August 15, 2002 A skull was found in Greene, NY which is a route one may take to Canada and is to where she claimed they, her and Flowers, were headed. There are no tolls, no paper trail left.

@caseih99 - here’s the response I got from the NY end, after asking them to check the NY Jane Doe against Patti’s info:

‘Thank you for reaching out. We have forwarded your suggestion to the investigators handling the case you referenced. If they need anything further, they’ll be in touch.’

The response I got from the Ohio end is, basically, they’re pretty sure Patti was already checked against the NY Jane Doe but will dbl chk. They’re also going to check NamUs and see if the automatic comparisons feature of checking likely matches against Patti’s info, is still working properly. It seems odd that only 10 comparisons have been made in the past 20 plus years.

Same reply I got from NYSVicap as well. There was a list somewhere I had seen, or so I think it was hers. I will fish around my history.. I feel the same as the optimism is lax in efforts being made.. Is it laziness or boredom or just plain indifference? Hard to tell..

I’ll keep at it until I get their dna/dentals compared to one another.

Update - I have reached out to Union Co S.O in Ohio, NYS Police, and NamUs. Rec’d a response from both police agencies (see above ref this) - which is great, that’s how it’s suppose to work. Today, I sent NamUs a request to make sure dna comparisons are still being automatically checked against Patti’s dna. I just want them to make sure nothing is wrong on their end - apparently NamUs has some system where they run automatic checks against dna in their databases.

I tried just editing my update post but can’t so I have to add another new comment about it. So a NamUs rep replied about Patti’s account. I asked that they look into her NamUs account settings, etc to make sure it’s all functioning properly. The rep said he would look into it. I checked her account and it does look like the last update was recent, on the date the rep said they’d look into it. So I’m hopeful about that. I then sent a msg asking that they specifically compare Patti’s dna/dentals against the NY UIP @casseih99 mentioned and am waiting to hear back.
