Does Billy have a trial date?

AC wants to deliver the truth to the R family. Sadly, she hasn’t. JW and AW testimony is not the truth. We still have no idea what happened on UHR that night.

I can say I still have questions but I have a very good idea what happened based on the evidence presented; first responding witnesses, coroner's & pathologist reports & testimony, crime scene & ballistic witnesses combined with AW & JW testimony.

Yes, I would like to know more but to say "we have no idea" is an injustice to the thousands of hours of investigative work and evidence all involved LEO worked years to gather and reconstruct. Agent Scheiderer testified that what they learned from the evidence brought them very close in what they believed happened that night to Jake's confession.

There are many of us that have been following this case for 4 to 6+ years. We became intimately familiar with all of the legal documents filed. We all had theories. Whether we realize this or not, we've all formed predisposed notions related to this trial.

IMO, it is truly improbable for any of us to try to view this trial from the eyes of an impartial juror. There are parts of the trials that none of us heard, but the jurors did. There are bits of Discovery that we know that were never presented to the jury.

We can all have our opinions about the trial. But in the end, it is only the opinion of the jury that will matter.

Monday's closing arguments will be fascinating.

Actually we do. The prosecution accomplished what they needed to - what was testified to by Angela and Jake tells the story. It's because the detectives tactics actually worked. Had Jake just kept his mouth shut I doubt he would have received the death penalty.
I doubt George thinks he can get away with it but why shouldn't he deny it all and shoot his shot? What's his other option? Plead guilty without putting up a fight?

100% agree! However, prior to this trial I was in the guilty camp. Closing will be epic.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone. Blessing that Deering gave us this time to reflect, to be thankful. We have a different perspective from that of the jury. We can argue amongst ourselves, but our opinion doesn’t matter.

I wonder if Jake or Angela have had any visitors since they’ve been in jail. Or if any of them have. Or does Jake and Angela know what prison they will be going to.

I hope Pastor Jake and Angel mommy never has a visitor for the rest of their lives. And I hope none of those prisoners are confiding in Pastor Jake because he will throw them under the bus for a package of chips. Not even a big pack either. And I hope neither one of them ever has any friends in there either. Maybe the prisoners will be smart enough to know Pastor Jake and Angel mommy would rat them out in a heartbeat even if they have to make something up like they did with George.

You know that before this trial i was 100% sure George was guilty. The lack of evidence against him changed my mind. I am sure it changed the minds of others on here also.

Watching GW4 on cross was not like watching an innocent person fight for his innocence, he spent the whole time trying to outwit Canepa. The amount of side stepping he did made me cringe.

Canepa asked him twice if he needed to refer to the transcript of the MT interview. Not once did i hear GW4 ask to read them. Infact he said he basically didnt need to see them, he wasnt disputing them, he just didnt remember if thats what he said. Another sidestep. So obvious.

Jmo I have to disagree with the transcript. He actually asked for it and she did not give it to him. She never stated according to transcript regarding Mt interview. She skipped around the subject of transcript at Mt interview so much that people wondered if there was even a transcript of that interview. Jmo

Other things that stood out were:

The morning after story ..either he was lying or the recipient of the murder truck was. Timelines dont match, apparently BW was in 2 places at once! GW4s answer to that 1? His cousin was mistaken.

When they were talking about GW4s multiple sks's, Canepa asked if there were any stored at the FW and he said words to the effect of no IT was not. Lil slip there imo.

On a wire tap GW4 said to JW "you should have destroyed the laptop". This was apparently b4 GW4 new JW was guilty. ALARM BELLS! Why/how would he say that if he had no idea?

He also lied about the time he went to bed.

Just these few points and the fact that he was sparring with Canepa and sidestepping every single question that pertained to the actual murders showed me hes, if nothing else, lying. Why is he lying about something hes not involved in. Why is he lying when his mother and brother are apparently trying to frame him? Complicity was proved to me BARD.

I have a question- If prosecution is only allowed to ask questions on cross pertaining to what was talked about on direct, what is stopping the defense completely directing the show? They couldve talked about nothing other then GW4s favorite meal and prosecution would only be allowed to question him about that? Theres gotta be something im missing.

I wish the same for all 4 Wagners. The crimes they committed were unforgivable.

I also wish that those who knew and helped cover up the murders be left to their unhappiness for the remainder of their lives. They should feel lucky they escaped prosecution unscathed.

The horror of wiping out an entire bloodline of a family of innocent people should weigh on their minds daily for the rest of their lives. May the be reviled and rejected by their community.

We’ve been here a long time and it’s been a relief to finally see some justice. I’ve learned so much more about these murders in the last several weeks. Horrible details a extensive plotting and planning, destroying childrens minds and lives.

In spite of what we've learned about the murders, I suspect it scratched the surface of their depravity. The public may never know all the horrors associated with these murders and this sick family.

The #PikeCountyMassacre trial of #GeorgeWagnerIV is on holiday pause until Monday. Lawyers are due back at 9 a.m. then to finalize jury instructions. Closing arguments follow. Judge Randy Deering last week told jurors to expect to begin deliberations no later than Nov. 30.
