Someone posted a link to an article that mentioned Angie as being the Mastermind. I can't find it and can one of you sleuth's find it?

Angie really is starting to sound like the Mastermind. Telling Rita not to testify against them, telling Rita to tell her attorney to look at documents in a certain box seized from Angela's house, talking about her defense's theories relating to her case, telling Rita what to say on the stand via buzz words which in my opinion could also pertain to code words.

July 20-19 we asked for a list of copies of the entire contents and documents contained in the tub marked important stuff that was seized from Angela Wagner in which the State claims does contain the custody documents allegedly notarized by Rita Newcomb. We are searching for certain documents that the prosecution is aware of previously dated 8 something which these alleged custody documents, but actually they're guardian documents.

Judge: They're what?

It's actually titled guardian summarized as custody documents.

Judge: So you've asked for copies?

I want to know what is in this box where they found the original---I put original I'm not sure they are original---copies of something that was copied from a Texas Website talking about guardianship. But there's others that we're looking at, hand written signed on dates she notarized, some of that were hand written dated on the dates in which she notarized the printed document.

Yes, well we want to know what was in them that particular tub of materials that I'm looking for. I don't need to know everything that's in it, it's just these 3 handwritten (similar?)
documents. Documents which are dated the same dates as the ones printed out--- the subject of which the documents---same date as the documents that are the subject of this particular trial.

I guess maybe I'm not following, you found out about these documents through discovery?

Well yes through search warrants that were issued for those---I think it represented prosecution that they had received this tub marked important stuff.

Later Canepa tells the Judge that Rita's attorney found out about this box marked important stuff from "inventory of contents from the Search Warrant" and from "discussions from Angela Wagner on phone calls." I assume Angela told Rita then Rita told her attorney.

Rita and the Wagner 4 are all indicted relating to the same case. Rita and the 4 Wagner's are all indicted for forged custody documents.

They are all listed in the indictments as being part of a criminal conspiacy, Rita is listed as part of it too. So they can't let any of them conspire further. If they talk to each other it keeps the conspiracy going and they can also try to get their stories all to match up and discuss what to say and not say --- Angie has told Rita what to do and say already.

Betty, do you remember what was said concerning "Texas?" I'm thinking someone downloaded the GUARDIANSHIP forms from a Texas online web site, printed it, and the W4 signed as various individuals. And perhaps the date printed was removed from the bottom and replaced as a cut and paste...JMO and example. Other thoughts very welcome!

If RN thinks the evidence against her is phony, she can bring that up at trial. My problem with her and her attorneys is their constant badgering to try to reveal evidence before the trials. They'll all have their day in court to prove their innocence. They can discuss the forms and the plastic tub and everything else then.

Yes, I recall now, RN's defense attorney was almost talking gibberish. He didn't seem to know exactly what documents he was talking about. I'm assuming it was some story RN had told him, but he hadn't bothered to clarify. I recall thinking at the time this was just RN making up more stuff (like the man in the blue uniform in the GJ room). Now she's talking about some alleged duplicate (?) documents that may show she didn't forge anything? The lawyer doesn't really say whether the alleged documents will exonerate RN.

JMO, they're just trying to throw stuff out to the public in pre-trial hearings to make it seem like the prosecution is doing something wrong.

This is crazy, it's nothing from discovery, this is Angie telling Rita to tell her attorney to get his hands on documents that were seized in a box from Angela's house. This is Angie at work. This is Angie at her finest doing what Angie does best...Trying to control everyone and everything around her.

It's breathtaking really. She even managed to get in a phone conversation between she and Jake! A 3-Way call between Jake, Angie, and Angie's brother Chris Newcomb. Angie calls all the shots. (Scary--could this be taken literally?)

If you don't obey her you may end up a target of revenge. To go against Angie is to go against the whole family. Jake's dying relationship with HR and the ensuing custody matter became the entire family/clan's problem just as much as it was Jake's problem.

Amen, Betty! And I think she knows they have the correct documents. Like you said, just badgering the prosecution to give up evidence.

Does anyone know if there will be multiple cameras in the courtroom during the trials? And has anyone noticed, AW is the only one who has chosen to be hidden by her red-faced attorney? That should speak volumes to the public! None of the others "hide" their faces. JMO

Prosecutors said Newcomb has had repeated telephone conversations with her daughter, Angela Wagner, who’s charged along with her husband, Billy Wagner, and sons in the capital murders. Angela is believed to be the mastermind of the conspiracy.

Asst. Attorney General Angie Canepa outlined during the hearing the reasons why Newcomb’s bail should be revoked. She said Newcomb and Wagner danced around talking to one another for months and admitted they weren’t allowed to talk to one another on recorded jail calls. But in June, the conversations turned to discussions about their criminal cases and Angela gave her mother instructions.

Billy's attorney says he's the mastermind. I think it's fair to say at this point that both the Wagner parents are the masterminds.
