He's already in trouble in Scioto county. Have a feeling one of his charges is linked to RN's bad notary mishaps. Also, it is interesting that his was a secret indictment and involves 3 more people. JMO

what is Chris in trouble and who are the other 3 if I can ask. TY.

No. They were not played in public. There is no way to listen. Not even sure if the gallery was emptied or if they were listened to in chambers

In chambers.

In chambers.

Do tell. ;) Do you have some inside information?

However, the special prosecutor from BCI is right. There was no reason to bring up any discussion of the GJ testimony in the pretrial hearing. That should have been saved for the trial. If their evidence was compelling (it wasn't JMO), they could have asked for dismissal then.

The way yesterday's hearing was handled reminded me of the whole mess with James Manley. Implying publicly that he was involved in his family's murders, then planting a device on his truck to track him. Then they made a big public show of arresting and jailing him only to later "send it to the GJ".

IANAL, but this all seems very unorthodox.

If I recall correctly, Rita spent days in Jail.

This could possibly be a different procedure than the W's.

Also, The W4 could not afford 2 Attorney's in death penalty cases or their bail if they qualified.

This is jmo. MOO.

Can the prosecution use the content of these phone calls in court, if you know?

If so, I might want them to talk away.

I apologize for my late reply, very busy day. Yes, the content of inmate calls can absolutely be used by either side in trying their case. That is why "most" attorney's see their clients in person at the jail. Notices are posted by the phones at jails that all calls are recorded so I suppose that unless an inmate is blind, they are just dumb. o_O:D

Well, I wouldn't argue the dumb part.

The jails in my Ohio county even warn you at the beginning of the call that you are being recorded. The video visits are recorded too. Rita's attorney warned her when the prosecution mentioned it at the last court hearing but she continued on yammering.

Unbelievably dumb.

Thank you!

She didn’t exactly admit she was guilty. I think JBB meant her lawyer, insisting it took place in Scioto Co, not Pike, was sorta “admitting” she signed the papers and committed fraud/forgery but it took place at a different venue. Is this what you meant Johnny? MOO
Yes

If they were sharing useful information that the state could use? Why move to revoke bail? Curious on everyone's thoughts.
Because by moving to revoke bond, they were able to document the details (of the W4's planned deceptions) in the official court record, code words and all.

I would be willing to bet RN’s mother, NB, is paying for AW’s calls and commissary, not FW. Just my hunch.
I'm not so sure. FW and the W3 have a LOT to lose if AW talks and cuts a deal.

Why wouldn't FW be coming to AW's hearings then? JMO

Good question!

I just don't buy that FW is supporting AW or RN in any way, shape, or form presently, nor in the past, since FW's last hearing. JMO

It is my opinion that once a person is incarcerated, they become indigent because they are unable to work or receive a state check. JMO

If anyone has it easily accessible would you mind posting a link to where it said "a written message was found in the street clothes meant for AW." I simply have no recollection of that happening, not saying it didn't happen. TIA.
CA you are correct, there is no MSM article supporting this theory.
I should have used "JMO", as it is just an educated guess.

She is the Royalty of Pike County so she might not have wanted to mar her outstanding reputation.

I said Royalty because of the TV special....

One more post and I'll give it a rest. During the bond revocation motion explanation, the prosecution stresses the importance of RN's name mentioned in the 4 W's indictments. Going to listen to Part 2 now. All JMO

Hey @Loomis124 I, and most likely others on here, appreciate how you keep this thread going. Just saying.
