Is today Jake Wagners birthday?
That's exactly right. It's also why I'm wondering if either GW4 or JW can be subpoenaed by her lawyers to corroborate HR signed in the presence of RN? Is RN going to say HR saw her alone? In no jurisdiction would it be legal to notarize a document without the signing person present. ... It is impermissible to notarize the document after the person has signed. The entire point of having a notary is so that the notary can attest that the person who is alleged to have signed, actually did sign the document.

And I was under the impression that Reader was the most vocal about protecting the surviving children. As for Rita standing up to Angela, I doubt that had happened in years. Rita seems to really timid and unsure of herself. And money dictates a lot of people and their actions. Why? Like they were going to kill her, too? Highly doubt that. IMO, Rita should have stood up against Angela and her evil ways for once in her life. If you aid killers, you should go down, too. JMO
The one thing all these people lacked was discipline. Never had to pay for a crime they did: Billy: "Is there a fine I can pay?" Bah Humbug, spoiled rotten brat.
But...I still think Junk has to come clean about these nasty, nasty people and why they got by with so much.
Also, I sure miss Sheriff Charlie Reader. It must hurt to find out who his real friends are, and are not. What a bummer.

Is she going to make prosecutor bring out handwriting experts to say HR's signature is forgery?
Or is she going to plea and do jail time, probation? I would think jail time could mean she keeps her mouth shut but probation could maybe mean her telling the particulars into how the forgeries came about, who asked you to do it and when? Did someone physically bring the papers all filled out for you to notarize?
Any ideas about what RN's defense is going to do?
How harsh can the the prosecutor be if she does decide to keep silent and plea guilty? Maybe the time she'd do would seem worth it to her, to not hurt family? I'm dying to know what RN and AW talked about in those calls.

I really hope the state did the hand writing check on the anonymous letter that got Charles Reader in trouble, because I have a feeling that the Killers families are behind it, JMOThe State already has handwriting experts on their jury lists. Shown in Discovery.
So do you think that means RN is going to say HR was in her presence and signed? JW with her?The State already has handwriting experts on their jury lists. Shown in Discovery.
It seems to me that there is no way to relate the casing and a silencer. I must have missed the mention of casings left behind, where did this come from? That's very important information you just brought up. I am surprised! All this time I thought they were so careful with their brass catchers and that they would count every shell casing, so I am now surprised to find out that they actually left 2 behind--2 different ones!
Great find CM!
So this makes a big difference with the ballistic matching because now they have more than just the maglite flashlite silencer from the well search--now they can compare the maglite to the bullet casings as well.

Do you think one of the killers where wounded during the assault on the Rhodens Family, I wonder about the DNA checking, Jake at one time lived there part time and Billy was like a business partner or least has been there, LE has something more than their telling, maybe (Blood) JMO
New journal entries on RN's court record yesterday and today. I especially like the "no clothing with messages," and assume that will be a standard for all the trials.

Post snipped by me because I'm posting in regards to your question about the Rita/Angie phone calls - just the little information we know about them from a Court Hearing in regards to the Motion to Revoke Rita's Bail.
November 20 - January 20 the phone calls between Rita and Angela are all about how they can't talk to each other.
First call November 20:
Miranda (sp?) mother of Chris Newcome's children (Rita's son) answers Angela's phone call and tells her, yes, Rita is home. Angela says she " wants to talk to Rita and tell her hi real quick" but Miranda says that "Rita is not allowed to talk to her."
Miranda then hands the phone over to Granny Beesler (Rita's mom) Rita shouts in the background "we are trying to get her to talk." Angela says " absolutely not! Do not talk to Granny Beesler! "
(I have no idea why she said this, must be in regards to something that happened previously? Or Angela is mad that Miranda won't put Rita on the phone?)
November 28:
Rita hands phone off to Granny and Granny asks Angela if she wants to talk to Rita, Angela says "no I'm not allowed, we can't talk about the case. "
December 8:
Chris puts on the speaker phone and allows Angela and Jake to have a conversation.
December 28:
Angela says "the only people I'm not allowed to talk to is Billy, George, Jake, Rita and Freddie."
January 10:
Rita gets back from her pre-trial and Angie calls and Rita tells her that "in Court today she was told she couldn't talk to anybody"
January 18:
Granny and Angela are on the phone together and Granny tells Angela that Rita wants to get on the phone with her and tell her she loves her. Angela says "she's not allowed to do that."
Angela asks granny how "Billy is doing" and she says "she knows she can't pass messages but they can't begrudge her wanting to know how everyone's doing."
January 19:
Angela says "she received a written Court Summary telling her she's not allowed to talk to them. "
June - July
There are 11 phone calls where they start talking more:
Angie and Rita put poor Granny in the middle, now every time Angela calls she asks Granny to put Rita on the phone or Rita asks Granny to give her the phone.
June:
Rita says "I know I'm not suppose to talk about this on here but," she then asks " where are the Custody Documents located? " Angela answers Rita that "there is a plastic tub with the words important stuff written on it and inside are the Custody Documents. "
Angela talks about the "date at the bottom of the document--April 2016--that this is when the documents were printed out" and she says she "copied it over and there are things her attorney is looking for." Rita tells her attorney about the tub of Custody Documents and her attorney wants them and files a Discovery Motion and brings up this subject in Court.
June:
Angela tells Granny that Rita "sent her a letter" and that "she knows they aren't allowed to write each other or talk about the case. "
July:
Rita and Angela discuss the Case and Angela gives Rita certain "buzz words to use if Rita takes the stand to testify."Angela says "she thinks that will work to explain the Custody Documents."
Rita says she "hopes she doesn't go to jail, that she needs to get off the phone, she doesn't want to get into trouble for talking."
July:
Angela says "let me tell you what my attorney said, I'm probably not suppose to say this on here but here's what he said to me." Angela goes on to tell Rita the "theories her attorney has for the case that she can use in her trial. "
July:
Angie discusses "case strategy, what to say in court and what not to say." And she discusses with Rita "whether or not they should testify at their trials. "
Here are some of the dates of phone calls listed in Rita's Discovery:
June 11, 14, 17, 22, 27
July 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, 13, 21
