Also in today's hearing, did anyone else pick up on AC mentioning a couple times--when answering the judge about getting the rest of the discovery to the defense and meeting with the defense attorneys--that the defense is particularly interested in seeing transcripts of recorded conversations? I'll have to go back and listen to the video again when I have time. IMO

EBM to add: I am wondering about the alleged revenge conversations and if those are the conversation transcripts GW4 attorney is referring to. I wonder if, after the return from AK, JW's ex-wife was wearing a wire and recorded the revenge conversations. That is what happened in the Yingying Zhang case--the murderer's girlfriend went to LE and told them things he had said to her, so they put a wire on her to record him bragging about what he had done. IMO, just a thought.

Someone needs to tell Junk to lose his "clicking of his pen" habit. Very distracting IMO.

I went back and listened. AC said they had been asked to focus on "certain conversations, recordings and such..."

I seriously doubt the State is going to provide recordings that includes information from a confidential information resource at this stage. JMO

Also, I think JW's wife literally ran for her life, as she stated in a You Tube video. I can't see them letting her in on conversations like this, plus I believe she had already left by this time. JMO

She also said they had recently provided more Discovery to the defense. Can anyone get a copy? Thanks.

Good possibility about JW's wife, it's been one of my theories, too. She seemed very afraid of the family.

Did anyone realize that BW's attorneys Mark Collins and Kaitlyn Stephens (latter said to be working for free) were Joel Jenkins' attorneys? Why is this not a conflict of interest since Jenkins was a member of the Pike County Sheriff's office and involved personally with Rob Junk? I cannot believe this perverted system of justice! And Ross and Scioto counties are just as bad if not worse. Geez. When will someone get elected to go in there and clean house?

Did anyone see Fredericka or Robin Wagner there at George Wagner 4th pre-trial

In my opinion George IV looks like he has lost weight.

Fred said he looked like he lost weight after his last court date.

This news clip about 20 seconds in, is intersting. The reporter actually comments on GW4's weight loss, saying:

"Wagner's appearance is quite different from when he first came into this courthouse about a year ago take a look. Showing a significant loss of weight from when he first appeared in court in early 2019. George Wagner heard once again how the evidence against him was overwhelming according to prosecutors and the judge."

They show video comparing how he used to look.

GWIV definitely looks very concerned and very aggravated both. I believe he has realized the situation is very serious and he had nothing to gain anyway. He is in a lose/lose situation...

I agree. He looks like he's lost more weight just since his last hearing a few months ago. I noticed how small his waist looked and how chiseled his cheek bones looked compared to previous court appearances.
My first thought was that GW4 looks more like JW now - especially his “chiseled cheekbones” and eyes. Before his weight loss I saw no resemblance between the brothers. And actually thought GW4 more favored their dad GW3. Weight loss thru incarceration - what a horrible way to lose it.

This is very interesting IType thankx again!

I think - opinion - that you are correct. Robin comes to court alot sitting behind the defense so the Robin you mention I am sure is RW.
The little boy I am sure is GW4's son because it is GW4 who is right there in court - so that makes sense.

GW4 looks concerned and serious all the time and it is all about his son in my opinion. On his facebook he updated his cover photo with a photo of he and his son together, they are both smiling and look happy.

Someone says to him:

M - "What a handsome boy!"

GW4 - "Thanks M he's my whole world I don't know what I would do without him"

George Wagner

I think it was October 2018 when GW4's ex petitioned for more visitation and GW4 demanded she get a psych evaluation and that figures because DeWine said there was obsession with custody and control over the children, and I take that to mean both Jake and GW4's children.

So GW4 must wonder why on earth he got involved with his brother and parent's diabolical scheme. I think it originated from Jake and Angela and that Angela masterminded the custody documents.

Posters say that GW4 had "less skin in the game" and they are right.
But a plea isn't enough, he needs to get not guilty verdicts to see his son again.

Why did the Wagners think 100% they wouldn't get caught?

Why did they think 8 murders would not draw the entire wrath of Ohio and the MSM and social media down on them? Why did they think it would just be a forgotten cold case?

I think when the laser focus didn't "do anything" in their eyes, after almost a year, they went back to Ohio thinking it was going to be a cold case.
I think GW3 felt confident he could go ahead and get his scorpion tattoo which might represent 8 murders because it has 8 segmented body parts.
Who's gonna notice right? Well now it is in his Discovery Evidence!

Because theW4 (and the entire Wagner family) have never been held accountable to any rules or the law - ever. The law didn't apply to them, they were above the law, they were Wagners. Just like the movie "Boondock Saints", the W4 felt they could take the law into their own hands. The end would justify the means.

I can imagine their life in jail has been a very rude awakening. They were used to living in an isolated world in which they were in control. They were used to living in a close family dynamic where they functioned as a unit.

You summed it up well.
QUOTE:

"They were used to living in an isolated world in which they were in control."

There are signs all over that this is true, in my opinion.

Billy was arrested for receiving alot of stolen goods that he said he bought off of some guys...eh hem..cough..cough.....
His response to the arresting officer was to ask if he could just pay a fine.

The delusional conversations they had about breaking each other out of jail and hurting (killing?) Reader, DeWine and the lead BCI agent, plus others who would go against them.

These people are so used to shaping and bending the world to fit them that they actually thought they could drive over to a fortified Ohio jail and break someone out. What?

These people possess a huge warped world view - they actually thought law enforcement was wrong to go against them for something they believed they had every right to do and LE should be hurt or killed for it. As opposed to LE is just doing their job and even mafia hit men know that and leave LE alone.

Like the distorted reality that Jake has a right to get custody signed over to him because it's what he decides is best. Hanna not signing is treating him badly. A mother not signing over her child to him is going against him and his family and they have a right to extract revenge.

I can commit heinous crimes (if guilty) and then take my son to AK for a year, depriving his mother of any visits, then when she asks for more visitation - not custody - I can demand she take a psych exam....??

...Opinion...

"Transcripts" is my word, not AC's. She said the defense was particularly wanting specific conversations. In my opinion, those conversations would have to be transcribed in order to be presented as discovery and entered into the court record as evidence--just as with the transcribed conversations between RN and AW. IMO

Good catch on the “specific conversations”

I didn’t hear AC use the word transcripts, (maybe purposely) but the Defense attorney did say transcripts.

Regarding the mention of the great volume of audio, recordings, transcripts, in pretrial video yesterday, I thought it was very interesting and telling.

The State seems to indicate Prosecutors have so very much audio recordings, transcripts, etc, that State is willing (I’m surprised by this) to indicate to Defense specific portions of the massive volume of audio recordings or transcripts in their possession that they may use.
To me, the emphasis on volume could indicate many different sources of audio, people, places, times.

The theory of a wire is a possibility.

Paraphrasing below as my audio is not clear in places.
Corrections, or clarifications are welcome.

Begin At approx 3: 18 AC states

...there has been a request that we focus ...on recordings and such.. again...voluminous amounts .... so to direct them towards a specific piece of evidence we may use at trial....

Begin At approx 4:40 Defense states

....state has...indicated...portions of audio recordings...audio transcripts... they have and will use... (more that I can’t understand what he is saying)

I have noticed AC is very careful with her words.

If used against them in court,
the defense always gets the actual tapes to listen to and tries to interpret the intent of the conversation with their own spin on it. Transcripts are standard so they can be filed with the discovery evidence like Angela's jail phone calls were.

The defense can also use the conversations to turn things around, like say if the Wagners go on and on about being innocent the defense can say

"See they didn't do it - they were just venting about revenge in the heat of the moment - they were joking about a jail break - wouldn't you (jury) be angry if you were innocent and LE is harrassing you? Etc.......

But if they confess to the murders on tape and the judge allows the jury to hear it there won't be much damage control the defense can do. Think Gotti. Fu-get'a-bout- it!
