As the Piketon Massacre podcast has apparently been discussed previously and contains interviews with some of the major case players, it is being approved.

However, please be careful in discussing any rumors that are in the podcast and try to stick to what the actual case players themselves have to say.

I will reapprove posts that were removed earlier today.
Wow, thanks sillybilly .. you ROCK!

So far we have found out why Jake Wagner was stocking Hanna May all those months (He was still in love with her) BUT SOMETHING HAPPENED THE LAST WEEK THE RHODENS WAS A LIVE, Jake was still wanting Hanna really bad trying to give her child support for a kid that Hanna had already said it was Charlie Gilley right after the altar sounds, so do you Sluthers think Hanna May told Jake there was never going to be a chance of them getting back together & that when he told Daddy that the Rhodens where taking SW away from them forever JMO

Ita!

I do believe the death penalty will be imposed. I expect them to be found guilty BARD.

Jmho
I believe so too. I don’t think I’ve ever followed a case where 4 people charged with same crimes were all sentenced to death.

I think that conversation happened after, according to that podcast, GW3 asked HR to sign away her daughter. Who was it that said that?

I think all the helpfulness right before the murders and after HR told JW they were through was all smoke screen, look at me how great I am being. JW saying what he did to CG about how even if the new baby wasn't his, he'd still want visitation rights was all a show too. AJMO

Though a stone wall is an appropriate metaphor for following many cases on Websleuths! Tricia should find a way to incorporate it into the graphic design on the next site update. JK o_O

BBM

having gotten all their information off Google (in my opinion)- they were too ignorant to realize how much murder investigations rely on more than the actual crime scenes. How these investigations will focus intensely on events that LED UP to the murders. The motives, the means, the opportunities, the shopping and spying and stalking.

I think they watched cartoons instead of Court TV.

JMO

Quite a few husbands/partners who kill their spouses neglect to account for their digital footprint prior to and after the murders. Unless you're an expert or paying close attention, people don't realize how easily they can be tracked once LE gets the search warrants. Your only hope is to commit your crime in a jurisdiction with incompetent or corrupt LE.

I was just thinking of previous discussions we've had about the Piketon Massacre victim's social media pages still being posted on Facebook and elsewhere.

It's possible LE left them up to see who would hack them after the murders, possibly changing photos or deleting text, etc. Obviously, they found a way to track who was hacking various accounts of the Rhodens, Hannah Gilley and likely the Manleys and others. If they did, they left a digital footprint. JMO

LE can still access your hard drive after it has been formatted. It has to be overwritten with zeros to be pretty safe. All activity on the internet is probably there forever. Do a search on your name some time...

I think he told Mommy and she told GW3 to tell HR to sign custody away to JW. While GW seems to me like a loudmouth and bullish kinda guy, I think he's easily led if you know how to present things. AW took over that role from FW. AJMO

Yup.

Like doing things without thinking because your mad, like threatening to kill someone as Jake did. So not thinking about the future investigation just reacting emotionally.

Brittany was Chris Jr.'s best friend and Dana treated her like a daughter. One time Brittany and Chris were 4 wheeling together and the ATV went down an incline and tipped over. Someone got Dana and she brought water and supplies to take care of them, fussing over them, making sure they were ok.

Dana was like that all the time towards people, according to Brittany. Also LM said she would "give you the shirt off her back." And a co-worker talked about how she would spend her own money bringing in treats for the residents of the nursing home, like a whole bag of cheeseburgers for example.

The only positive things I can find that have been said about the Wagners is Angie doted on her grandkids, helped a family once, and they loved dogs.

Jake said in his custody affidavit that since S was born he and Hanna have had equal time with her. He told reporter Chris Graves that he was happy with the way custody was, that they shared custody every other week, and he did not want full custody.

"I didn't want that, I'm just suppose to spend time with her and make sure she has a happy childhood."

Chris Jr. told Brittany a different story. That Jake treated Hanna badly and it got to the point where she kept S away from him but we don't know for how long. Notice Jake had S that week in April. So I'm thinking that he likely tried to act normal before the murders to be allowed to have visitation and establish the perception and pattern that all was well with the visitation, that there was no reason for him to be upset about it.

Note him offering child support without knowing if the baby was his, and he and Angela buying a crib according to Brittany. All a good way to get into Hanna's house to learn the layout and to establish that he had a lack of motive for the crimes, you know, that all was well between them. Then he eliminated the people who lived with Hanna, the folks who would know first hand what was going on.

I think we are seeing what Reader described as one of their mistakes:
"all the lies they told us."

Just my opinion (from Podcast insider accounts and MSM)

Okay Sluthers
I got another question to ask all of you!
Why did the Wagners Sell their Farm and Move To Alaska?
Did the Wagners plan to run to Canada?
Did the Wagners plan on hiding in the Bush?
Or did the Wagners plan on trying to escape into Russia?
Or did the Wagners sell their farm so none of the survivors of the Rhodens could take it if the Wagners where caught?

JMO but I don't believe that all 4 will receive the DP. I think it depends upon what county the jurors are from AND if one of the W4 agrees to talk.

Is the Brittany detail in the Podcast? (I only listened to one episode). Thanks

Just think when AW was saying have to downsize ALOT, pretty much fire saling everything...JW article "I hate seeing my daughter cry" is published with the news JW has started a go fund me to help him pay legal fees he accrued gaining custody of his daughter. So yeah, they were getting ready to leave but were going to soak Ohio dry first. AJMO

Wonder why FW was never asked by a reporter why her grandson, who's life was just tragically impacted, had to beg strangers for money to secure her great granddaughter.
