If Jake retained the gun but hid it, He probably entertained the possibility of retrieving it sometime in the future. If he did that it will be in a dry place, In secure wrapping in only a place he knows. It is therefore findable. I do not think he would have hid it on the farm property he owned. He would have taken it to the family estate where he grew up. FW's farm. Time to start questioning his friends from childhood. Time to break out the metal detectors.

They searched fw farm and the one on bethel again in 2019 but didn’t state if anything was found. They were there several days and guarded at night. I only know because I seen them. Jmo

The 1911 Walter Colt is somewhere on the property that Jake Wagner has access to, Jake didn’t want to get rid of that gun, JMO

We can’t post anything from the scioto guardian here can we? There is an interesting article about a pike co deputy would ran drugs from Florida to here.

Yes articles from them can be posted because they are a MSM news source for Ohio. Even covers Pike County. But post articles having to do with the Thread Topic:

The 1911 is a model number or frame design. I think it is made by more than one manufacturer.
Hubby has a 1911 Colt .45 which according to the serial # was made in 1959. The 1911 is the style of the gun.

Billy would be taking a huge chance being inside CR's place during/after the killings.
How many suspects would have feet as big as that GIANT of a man?
You can make your feet grow but you can't shrink them.

About Angela today I'm trying to think of what was said.

1.) She threatened to kill GW4's wife causing her to hide out in the yard until dark and then sneak out and drive away never to live there again. The couple got into an argument and Angie apparently got in the middle of it and took GW4's side.
Sounds like the poor girl was terrified of Angie.

2.) The "boys" lived with her their entire lives until the arrests. They shared bank accounts, homeschooling together, Angie's computer had Jake's name registered to it, they all were using Angie's computer like a family computer, all family decisions were done with the 4 Wagner's taking a family vote. We all were right when we said they were an enmeshed family. Note GW4's wife had to live with Angie, no home with just her and her husband.

3.) Angie told Rita to lie and say she signed and notarized the custody documents. Rita is a notary. It came out that those custody documents were set up by Angie, getting them off a TX Website, that in the event of the death of her sons their children's custody would go to her, not to the mothers. Hanna's signature was faked and Angie got GW4 involved with fake custody documents for his son. The custody documents were downloaded I think he said in April 2016 but dated for December 2014 which was the last time Hanna lived with the Wagner's.

4.) Angela bought the size 10.5 and 11 shoes in the Waverly Walmart 2 weeks before the murders. Special agent Scheiderer was holding an evidence photo that I saw that showed Angie in that Walmart on the day of the shoe purchase. She was pushing a cart near the doors.

These specific shoes match the shoeprints found in blood at Chris Sr's and Dana's.
These shoes show no tread wear and are consistent with the way shoes look when bought new and not worn. Angela was asked about these shoes. She said she bought them for GW4 and Jake and that they both hated or disliked the shoes so she threw them out the same day she bought them.

So Jake and GW4 were asked about the shoes. What did they say? They both said they never saw the shoes!

5.) Angela and her family tried to commit mortgage fraud in Missouri.

2 standout moments for me today:

Angela threatens to kill her only daughter-in-law and scares her into hiding on the property then sneaking off the property driving away at night never to live there again. And GW4 calling and or texting all the Wagner's that he wants to smash in Special BCI Agent Scheiderer's face.
OMG...!

GW4 saw Agent Scheiderer coming onto the Peterson Rd. property and he immediately text his dad Billy not to come over because they "had company." Obviously code for LE (law enforcement). Seems he got tired of this lead BCI agent showing up asking questions!

Wow ... just wow ...
Still think Angie stayed home because the men would not want her "exposed" to such violence? Just asking.

I smell a plea deal coming.
I smelled that long ago. It is just now setting in on George that he is not getting at all unless he makes a deal.

I always thought HE would be the weakest link and talk. Now, I'm not so sure. I'm rather getting the impression they are a very tight family and will not budge.

I found this article interesting because he stated running pills from Florida to Pike Co. Glad he turned his life around, but I would like to know who the dealer was he thought was pertinent to the massacre. Bci must have checked it out, but Florida thing is interesting. Jmo

Pike Co. school resource deputy was a one-time drug dealer, audio reveals - Scioto Valley Guardian
What does this have to do with the murders? Are you suggesting that this deputy killed the R's? If so how did he get 3 guns owned by the W's? Don't forget that shell casings at the crime scene matched shell casings found on W land and some of those on W land were fired years before. That is why some of them were covered with dirt.

This is little more than local gossip IMO.

Jmo not at all suggesting he had anything to do with the murders AT ALL. I thought I made my comment clear Sorry I don’t feel he was involved.

You had to ask! .. LOL

Here is why I think Angie stayed home.

3 guns were used in the murders and LE thinks GW4 used the 40 caliber Glock firearm, Jake used the Colt 1911.22, and I think Billy used the 30 caliber rifle. There were 30 caliber bullet fragments found at Chris Sr's and I always believed Billy shot Chris. Those 2 were the patriarchs of their families, knew each other a long time from when their kids were young, and who had been friends and then had a falling out and physical fight.

No mention of a 4th gun used.

Not just that but according to Canepa, just a few weeks before the murders Jake and Angela and George were preoccupied with Jake and George dying and so they signed fake custody documents giving Angie custody of their kids if they died. Not custody to Hanna, they knew she would already be dead, but custody to Angela.

This is because the Wagners knew they could be killed by the Rhodens if the
Rhobens detected them on their properties that night.

So Angie stayed back at Peterson Road to not just watch the kids but to stay alive.

What the heck are you talking about? She absolutely thinks her family is innocent why do you think she bought billy those bullet proof vests after the murders?

They can say those bullet casings found on the W property is them being framed too.
Yeah especially since some of those casings have been on the property so long they were covered with dirt. Apparently when they decided to frame the W's they started several years earlier firing Jake's gun on Jake's farm.

Or....Angie was the driver or.....Angie used one of the guns and George drove. But I guarantee she did not stay at home. After all T was so terrified of Angie she hid all night in the woods then ran for her life. Something in Angie made her run. Not terrified of George but of Angie. Not threatened by her husband George but her MIL Angie. Sounds like George was scared of her too since he didn't stand up for his wife. Talk about the mother in law from hell. lol

You never said, or I don't remember, who you think was watching the 2 children? They were only 2 and 3 years old at that time.

Or do you think they were left alone?

I don't think it would be possible to kill 8 people at 4 locations with 2 toddlers in tow. Plus they anticipated a possible shoot out making sure custody documents were signed in case of their deaths.

Not an enviornment condusive for sleeping kids.

This brings me back to Angie being home with the kids.

My m-1911 is a .45 caliber 1943 model made by Remington-Rand typewriter company.
