Yup. Their options are down to tossing out evidence and impeaching witnesses.

I have tried to find out and just haven't seen anything. Humm..maybe missed it ... ?

Strange. They should have their own experts and witnesses and other evidence they plan to use.

I haven't posted in forever but I still try to stay current by following along. I have two fast questions I can't remember the answers to.
#1. Is it known for a fact that JW actually lived with the R's? I know he made the claim but the W's are liars. Is there any R family that verified that he lived with the R's as opposed to maybe possibly spending the odd night? The only thing I think i remember is AC saying that AW, GW, and JW always lived together.

#2. I do remember 3 different types of guns being talked about. I have read on here that a few think that means that one of the W's either didn't shoot, stayed home or something else. Is it confirmed that there were only 3 guns used that night or only that there were 3 types of guns used? Meaning there could have been 2 of one type for 4 armed W's.

Welcome Back, @KentuckyMama! Haven't seen you in a while.

IIRC, based on shell casings found at the scenes, ballistics and autopsy reports, there were three weapons used. It's possible a fourth Wagner had a gun and didn't use it. Many here assume Jake, Billy and GW were the shooters and Angela was the driver. Those details aren't known at this time, though.

She is going to blame another person or group that (his attorney says) strongly points to George's innocence.

They need her deposition in case she can't make it to trial due to age and the virus.

That would be interesting since she said after one of her hearings she did not know who killed them, she did not know them. So I guess she gave GJ names of who BW told her. Now it could be they are gonna try to say something that proves G4 is innocent and then it points to others without lawyer directly naming them. The person/group may be JW/AW,BW but he will not directly say it. They basically said that in his bond hearing anyway without saying it.

What could she know that no one else would know? My first thought is something stated, or an act committed by another W4.

It will be interesting to see how the other 3 Wagner cases follow this. Support it makes me think it points to someone other than a Wagner and fight it makes me think it further points to another Wagner's guilt.

She seems healthy. If they submit a deposition instead of calling her to the stand as a witness, she can't be cross examined. No way.

Sounds like they're planning to have her explain how other people are responsible for the Rhoden murders. Would that speculation even be allowed if she testified at trial?

Who is she going to accuse? Isis? Terrorists?

I'm going to see if Prairie Wind is available to answer some questions for us again.

If she testifies (in a deposition) about others being the killers, wouldn't that mean she lied to the Grand Jury? Again? She must have lied all the way through her GJ testimony. She can't be trusted, JMO

I don't remember the specifics but didn't FW Google about lying to the Grand Jury (The NIGHT before she testified). iirc. jmo.

Yes, she did. I think it was AC who mentioned that at one of the pre-trial hearings. Her computer showed her doing a google search of something like "penalty for lying to a grand jury" or something similar.

It will be interesting to see if the defense tries to call her to the stand during the pre trial hearing so she can put on a show pretending to have dementia. At her age, she should have already been given the COVID 19 vaccine. I'm a lot younger than her and I've already had it.

She has got by with a lot of crime, it’s wrong to make a living off the poor people of Pike County, just because someone wants to buy a piece of property that they will never get, JMO

FW would have had the vaccine. Ohio has it opened up for 16 years old and above on Monday, March 29.

I wonder why GW's defense attorney mentions his grandfather, Bob Wagner, in the Motion? It doesn't seem relevant, unless Bob was a witness to or was involved in the planning of the murders.

It seems very unlikely that she would turn against JW and BW but if she believes there is 'less' proof against GW4 than anyone else in her family then maybe she would go for it.

I have zero idea of how close FW is to the other section of her family.

Maybe she is thinking of who could possibly inherit and control the farm in the future. That is very important to many people. That is her life's work imo.
