The only way Jake could have gained entrance to Dana’s home was to knock on the door, because Hanna May, Little Chris & Dana had just moved into the new house in April, the Rhodens where already having trouble from the Wagners about SW custody, so I doubt the Rhodens would have let Jake have a chance to get a key to the new house, JMO

Knocking on the door would wake them up. They were in bed and apparently asleep. Chris Sr was awake and had a sensor light that flooded his driveway, it could have alerted him to the Wagners resulting in him opening his front door. (shell casings on porch)

There was a Pike County police report I saw on-line a long time ago (possibly in MSM ) that said no forced entry and in 5 years I have never heard of forced entry.

The Wagners could not take it for granted that the doors and windows would be unlocked for them to waltz in, or take it for granted that a forced entry through a door or window wouldn't wake them up.

I think when they went to all the homes they were confident of getting in quickly and quietly and they would need keys to do this.

Also, Jake could have been "nice" to Chris Jr in hopes of gaining access to his keys if Dana and Hanna resisted.....Theories

Am I missing something but didn’t Mike DeWine or the Discover talk about a cell phone jammer and a next door neighbor trail cam photo????

The next door neighbor gave LE their security camera footage but I don't know if there is a photo from it in the discovery evidence. I haven't heard of a cell phone jammer, interesting....

I agree, and since they were in bed, I doubt anyone answered the door and they made them get back in bed to shoot them.

I doubt anyone answered the door and they made them get back in bed to shoot them. It is possible. I wonder if they killed KR to get his keys to CRsr home then took keys from CRsr to the rest of the homes.

Perhaps that is why KR was killed, to get his keys to CRsr and then keys were taken from CRsr that would get them into the other homes.

Cell phone jammer as a useful tool? We don't know what purpose that served yet.

Knocking on the door, then forcing their way in. No one could call 911 or any other source of help.

Just throwing out some possible ideas.

At CRsr that is very possible, not sure that may have happened at other homes since they were found in bed.

2 Cent Theory

Both bodies were "hidden" in a back bedroom because they were being extra cautious, not wanting to take the chance of bodies being seen too early. Not only did they want to finish what they started but they needed time to get rid of all those security cameras (maybe phones if they stole them) and the guns, brass catchers, bug detector, shoes, masks, all their clothes etc...all those murder kit purchases.

If someone went to Chris's too early and the door was unlocked they could go right in then be calling 911, way before the Wagners were ready for that.

With the door locked a visitor could assume they are sleeping and not want to wake them, at least not until BJM showed up around 7:00am. The longer it took to get into the houses means the longer it took to call LE.

Note that Frankie and HG were already in the bedroom and their door was locked.

My theory is contingent on Dana's door being locked also.
The door at FR may have been locked to prevent any young children from leaving the home.

Exactly. Simply have the key.

There is no reason for Jake not to have a key to the Rhoden home he lived on and off in. No reason he could not get a key to Chris's. He lived next to Chris I believe, and could have been given a key because he was like family and even spent Christmas every year at LM's. Or he could have been helping Chris with something... etc.....

Also, he could have known where the spare key was kept outside, BJM knew.

As for Dana's, all he had to do was borrow Chris Jr's car or Dana's car or Hanna's car. He could have simply offered to put gas in their car or offered to drive their car to a tire shop to replace a tire or offered to drive their car to his house to replace some parts or tune it up.

Remember, he was fixing a woman's car at his house before and after their aggravated crimes that night. People always turn their keys over to someone fixing their cars.

Why do I say car keys?

Ok, raise your hands ... LOL ... How many posters on here have their house keys and car keys on the same key chain?

Not sure he would have a key to DR home since they had just bought it. It is possible he could have been around someone/their keys in that short period of time to copy them. I am not sure they were on good enough terms for him to borrow any of their cars to get access to their keys. People do argue and then they are ok and then argue more so it could be.

I agree he probably would not have had key to DR new home since they had not owned it very long.

I have a two piece key chain and can remove the part with my house key.
I also keep a car key in my billfold to give to mechanics and parking attendants...

Yes, the discovery lists include some type of electronic device to detect hidden devices. Also pretty sure there is video footage listed in evidence for a camera at a neighbor's home.

I haven't posted in forever but I still try to stay current by following along. I have two fast questions I can't remember the answers to.
#1. Is it known for a fact that JW actually lived with the R's? I know he made the claim but the W's are liars. Is there any R family that verified that he lived with the R's as opposed to maybe possibly spending the odd night? The only thing I think i remember is AC saying that AW, GW, and JW always lived together.

#2. I do remember 3 different types of guns being talked about. I have read on here that a few think that means that one of the W's either didn't shoot, stayed home or something else. Is it confirmed that there were only 3 guns used that night or only that there were 3 types of guns used? Meaning there could have been 2 of one type for 4 armed W's.

Thank you all so much for keeping this going and keeping us lurkers up to date.

I don't remember anyone but Jake and Angie talking about Jake and Hanna living one week with Hanna's mom then one week with Jake's mom, back and forth.

Very interesting question. When researching, I hope everyone is on the "look out" to see if anyone confirms this.

3 guns - 2 handguns and 1 rifle. Jake owned a 22 caliber Walther Colt and George bought a Glock handgun through Facebook. His uncle facilitated it and they met the seller at a HWY rest stop.

40 caliber Glock - semi automatic hand gun (pistol)

Walther Colt 1911.22 Long Rifle - semi automatic handgun (pistol)
long rifle means the type of ammunition.

SKS 30 caliber rifle (7.62) shells

Ballistic evidence at Chris Seniors found in living room, front porch, and bullet in dirt under house.

30 caliber rifle bullet fragments.
Metallic 7.62 cartridge - heavier weight - military style round.
Bullet fragments from a Glock 40 caliber firearm.
A casing from a 40 caliber cartridge.

Ballistic evidence at Dana's and Frankie's:

22 long rifle shell casing recovered under crib in Hanna's bedroom.
22 long rifle shell casing recovered in the middle of Frankie's and HG's bed.

Have they ever said what type of gun shot KR? TIA

Have they ever said what type of gun shot KR? TIA

No. I am only guessing that the reason why is because they did not recover any ballistic evidence.

However, they would have the one bullet that was shot. They can compare it to the others so I assume they would know which gun shot him. The bullet likely tells BCI that Kenny was shot with one of those 3 guns and this is why they know that Kenny was part of the murder plot and a Wagner shot him...My take on it.

At trial I hope Kenny is mentioned. Justice for Kenny -- and all!

LM mentioned in an interview that CRsr had a camera in a birdhouse that was not taken...

Yes in a birdhouse, a shell camera, probably because it is small and waterproof, I think. He also had an invisible fence and automatic floodlights and outside security video cameras.

No wonder Chris Sr saw the Wagners coming! He must have seen them coming from the flood lights and video cameras and then he opened his front door and then the Wagners started shooting at him from the front porch. Looks this way to me ... 2 Cents

3 people said Kenneth had security cameras - DS, LM and BJM. In Discovery there is a Game Camera listed for 51 UHR, enhanced DVR footage and other DVR footage, Trail Cam Pictures and Wagner Game Cams.

"Chris had one even in a bird house, one of those shell cameras. We ain't heard on none of that either.

“I guarantee if anyone pulled up to his garage and took a step on the concrete where the wire (invisible fence) wasn’t, I’ll tell you he’d been bit,” Manley said.

Leonard Manley said Chris had at least two video cameras mounted to a building near the entrance of his trailer. When motorists arrived at this driveway, a sensor would turn lights on. “You could clearly see the cars and even the people inside."

He said he believed Christopher Rhoden Sr. kept the cameras on at all times but Manley did not know if authorities had video from those cameras.

If I were the only one of the 4 killers that did not have a gun, I would feel very anxious.
I also don't think the killers used a cell phone jammer. I would be surprised if they knew
of the existence of them.

No cell phone jammer is listed in the Discovery (we can see) nor been mentioned in Court.

A cell phone jammer is the opposite of what the Wagners were trying to do, it kills phone signals. The Wagners hacked into Facebook private messages and if they hack a cell phone they wouldn't use a jammer because it stops all communication between people on cell phones.

They bought a bug detector to find hidden devices.

Game Camera listed for 51 UHR, down the road from Dana's.

51 Union Hill Rd, Peebles, OH Look past pink blossoms on tree.
That is a view of UHR, looking toward Dana’s in far distance on right.
