Motion to Dismiss Fredericka Wagner Charges
From what I recall Canepa saying, the drug deal was totally fake.
The prosecutors also referred to an incident a few weeks before the murders that Local 12 had reported on previously in which family members claimed Billy Wagner and Christopher Rhoden had been in a physical fight.
Thank you so much for supplying this link. I am trying to brush up on the facts by reading all the MSM/court documents and watching court hearings in the media/timeline before the actual trial begins (assuming George does not take a plea and goes to trial). I realize I am being a bother but I missed a lot in the last few months.
Your research skills are excellent. Thank you for your hard work.

Quote from news article:Once again I am going to ask for a link to this alleged physical fight between Chris and Billy. I cannot find it mentioned in any MSM, court documents or hearings. If anyone has a link to this "Chris beat Billy" fight I would like to read or hear it myself.

RAISINISBACKThis helps. Brush up on the details
I posted a link a couple minutes ago without reading farther down the page. It appears CO posted the same reference and link to a physical fight between BW and CRSR that I just posted.Thank you so very much Tiff3fr you are a sweetheart and I very much appreciate what the mods do on here.
So it appears Billy did in fact pull a gun on Chris per Other Acts Evidence.
BBM
Note: it doesn’t state who may have beat whom (if that occurred) or any details beyond ”threatening with a gun”.
I am still confused as to where the "physical fight where Chris beat Billy up" is coming from though. Can anyone confirm that actually happened with a link? Sorry to be so much trouble and admitting I may have missed the MSM article/court document/court hearing where it was mentioned.
TIA
Correct, proffers not available at this time.YW!

"Also Monday, a hearing on a request for a reasonable bail was postponed for Jake Wagner’s father, Billy. Billy Wagner had filed a motion requesting a reasonable bail be set last week, claiming none of the evidence in the case ties him to the murders. Wagner’s attorneys wrote that he and Chris Rhoden Sr. were best friends and referred to one another as “brother.”Once again I am going to ask for a link to this alleged physical fight between Chris and Billy. I honestly don't know, though, if there is any clear detail available anywhere of who "won" or if comments that CRSR "won" has just been an assumption. JMO

I didn't find any clarification on who won either, but it does appear there was a physical altercation between the two and a gun was pulled by Billy who pointed it at Chris.I posted a link a couple minutes ago without reading farther down the page. GW4 is the only person I have seen FW try to make contact with while in the courtroom. She has been present for some of the hearings for the other three W4 but I've not seen her make contact while in the room. Actually, I think I recall an earlier GW4 hearing after FW's charges were dismissed where it looked like she was trying to make eye contact with him (possibly even tried to tap the chair rail in front of her to get his attention?) when he came into the courtroom, but he just turned his eyes toward the floor and continued walking to his chair. Don't have a link, so consider it JMO.One thing I have been thinking a lot about is FW's actions after she bonded out. Someone please correct me if I am wrong (my memory is nowhere in the vicinity it used to be) but if I remember correctly the only one that FW made an effort to talk to their attorneys (other than Billy's) was George. I do remember her in the first hearings going up to talk to George's attorneys after the hearings but I do not remember her ever making an effort to speak to Jake or Angie's attorneys after any of their hearings. Since this occurred right after the arrests and before Jake's guilty plea it makes me wonder how many details, if any, FW was privy to.
If she was indeed privy to any details, (I am making a huge assumption here that she was) does anyone think it might be possible that the reason she made the effort to speak with George's attorneys is she was told that George did not kill anyone so therefore viewed him as being less guilty than Jake or Angie?

I think FW favored GW4 just because of that #4 at the end of his name. Being the 4th tells me he is the fourth generation of men with the same name. Normally given to the first born male in that generation. And in each generation the first born is normally pampered/favored and given special treatment, more so if they share the same name as their father. Because of that GW4 was propably favored by FW over any other grandchild and he could do no wrong. Including participating in murder. She was probably eying him to take over the family farm long before the murders.GW4 is the only person I have seen FW try to make contact with while in the courtroom. I also recall--and I think it was possibly at GW4's arraignment--BW's sister speaking to one of GW4's attorneys and asking him to let GW4 know that his grandma was sending him her love (paraphrasing). It was caught on camera, don't recall exactly if it was before hearing or after.
Also, GW4 is the only one of the W4 that FW has tried to be sure she had testimony for on record via deposition in case she passed away before trial. Of course, that motion was dropped by GW4's defense team after AW's confession. After JW's confession, I also believe FW was the driving force behind GW4's team trying to get JW's proffer disallowed because JW suffered a head injury as a child and couldn't be trusted to tell the truth. Well, FW sure has dropped out of sight and kept plenty quiet since AW's confession--whether completely truthful or not--since it corroborates JW's story.
I've always been of the opinion that FW favored GW4 because she wanted him acquitted in order to take over her farm when she and her daughter are no longer able to run things. You make a good point as to her actions on GW4's behalf possibly being due to her believing he didn't kill anyone so therefore he isn't guilty. My only thought there is, AW allegedly wasn't present when the murders were committed so didn't kill anyone, either. Why didn't FW extend the same efforts on AW's behalf that she did for GW4?

She sure did defended JW in that interview she did after the arrests. The one where she was in her kitchen, IIRC, and had her Bible sitting in the table in front of her.GW4 is the only person I have seen FW try to make contact with while in the courtroom.
