I wonder if FW, is allowed to be present when they go to the flying W.
What did the court have to do to get back on the properties?
My best guess is the discovery of critical evidence found there after Jake's confession. As part of his plea deal, he gave up the local of the weapons used in the murders. They were encased in buckets filled with concrete and dumped on one of the lakes/ponds on FWF property.

Profoundly stupid! Lol
I've made similar mistakes. Waking up in the middle of the night. Can't sleep, post something when. im
I think there are some lies in his proffer that he will stick to on the stand. On the stand he will parrot what his proffer says.

I think he is lying in his proffer when he says he doesn't know who shot who.

But he will stick to this story on the stand. Be great if he slips up and gives a hint that his dad shot so and so or George went after so and so. But he will try hard to keep to his script.

I'm sure he has it all memorized what he will say. He has nothing else to do sitting in jail.

I think Special Prosecutor Canepa, BCI and others are smart enough and have deep knowledge of the voluminous amount of evidence in this case to know when Jake is lying. It's why they keep some evidence and details about the crimes secret.

They're also much smarter and more experienced than Jake. JMO, it's kind of an insult to the prosecution team to imply they are so vapid they would allow Jake to lie in his proffer. As I mentioned, they have decades of experience and doubtless worked with quite a few criminal psychopaths in their day. AC worked for years prosecuting Domestic Violence cases. She's heard all the lies and excuses many times before. He's in her control, not the other way around.

So I have tried to keep up with this case as best I can. However, it seems I missed something of interest that happened in around summer of 2018, before the wagner arrests. I was listening to episode #5 of season 3 of the "piketon massacre" podcast and there is a detail in it that I seemed to have missed. Apparantly, GW4 changed his social media picture to a "one-eyed wolf" and people immediately began commenting in a group linking that picture somehow to the death of Kenny Rhoden(shot once in the eye). Then apparantly Angela Wagner had to chime in and tell him to change the picture immediately. and had a comment of "Really, George" or words to that affect. Does anyone have any further information on this, or any links to this, or any mainstream media reporting on this? This is very interesting to me on several levels.

As an aside that you might find interesting, although a judge need not be present during a jury view of a scene, his or her being present would probably be wise. The reason is that one party could move for a new trial because the other party commented during the course of the jury's view of the scene.
^^rsbbm

Quoting my own post to recall where another defense used the no comment or narration by any party to prevent prejudicing or distracting the jury when they argued their client should be able to view what the jury saw, albeit in private-- so as to not distract the jury. MOO

But during Wednesday's hearing, special prosecutor Angela Canepa told Deering she thought there was something important to note: "We are not stipulating that George Wagner did not shoot anybody. We are stipulating that according to Jake Wagner's proffer, George did not shoot anybody. That's an important distinction."

Here's the accurate statement that the defense has distorted and attempted to spread to the news media.

AC is saying Jake lied about George's involvement in his proffer. IIRC, she also said he told the truth once the prosecution made him aware of all the evidence they had showing George did shoot somebody.

If Jake lies on the stand, the prosecution will call him on it, with evidence. He faces perjury charges and the death penalty. I can't imagine he would risk his LWOP sentence for nothing. He and his brother are the losers if he does.

The Wagners were total idiots when it came to their social media posting, but GW4 seemed to be a special case. Creepy, if true, about the picture.

I remember the picture and a comment of Angela's, but not the exact wording of her comment.

The actual trailers the R/G families lived in are still in storage off-site. They might take the jury to those trailers, but I can't imagine what poor condition they will be in after 6.5 years in storage (and the bed bugs;)).

I do think they will take the jurors on a tour of the four properties, as well as the Bethel property (site that previous trailers on FWF property the W4 lived at previous to Peterson Farm)and the FWF to show proximity.

I also think they will use the FARO scans they took of the trailers. FARO is a technology that helps visually recreate crime scenes.

An overview of FARO technology:

An additional add to this post. IIRC the W4's previous trailer on FWF's Bethel property has since mysteriously burned to the ground......

I have not listened to the podcasts you reference.

IMO, the W4 came back from Alaska in late spring/early summer 2018. It appears they were there in AK for about a year.
The picture of a wolf appeared on George's (public) FB fall 2018 as well as Angie's reply. I'm still not clear what it's meaning was.

To my knowledge, nothing in MSM has ever been reported about anything else about Kenny's death other than the fact he was shot once in his right eye.

In my own interpretation, being shot once in the eye means you might have seen something and had to be eliminated for that reason. Big IMO on my part.

He posted it and she said "Really" and he replied "What don't like it".

George posted his wolf on his facebook October 4, 2018. I think it was his cover photo but he changed it to a car engine or a photo of him smiling with his son. He left the wolf on his page. Was there the last time I saw his Facebook. Not sure if his Facebook is still up.

This was discussed on here January 2019. I have never seen anything about it in MSM. I think people were reading too much into it, but you never know with the Wagners. Reader posted a wolf on his facebook November 8, 2018 some people mentioned.

Found it! Still on his Facebook:

g4 going to trial with this overwelming evidence is a shining example of just how entitled and dead inside this family cult is. he actually believes imo that his participation was either justified by rationalization or he just thinks he is that great and incinble so the jury will reward him. g4s lack of remorse or any human emotion going in to trial. on one hand maybe the families welcome this type of justice with a trial for the whole country to see just how evil these ppl are. it also much be gutwrenching to go into the extreme details and blunt that come out about deaths in a murder trial. any killing is hard to get over, but this level of sadness seems insurmountable.

Im really hoping we get some of the questions answered.

Im wondering at what point the prosecution would considered the plea with AW and JW broken and the death penalty reinstated?

Good question!!

Wonder if he did a photoshop on that pic?

Wonder if KR was shot in the right eye? Edit: Apparently, yes. I re-read the posts above.

I remember the pic of the ATV on the railroad tracks, captioned "nice night for a ride on the tracks". April 21.

In Ohio, there are two types of homicides other than manslaughter: aggravated murder and murder.

When by their own words, prosecutors make a deal with the devil, there is nothing certain or off of the table.

This case is a good example of where even with Jake agreeing to 8 consecutive life terms, the Judge previously ruled that George (and Billy) can still face the death penalty. The issue here for the death penalty is a conviction for aggravated murder. MOO

12/22/21

In a brief but fiery hearing in Pike County Common Pleas Court Wednesday, a defense attorney argued that pursuing aggravated murder charges and the death penalty against the oldest brother charged in the Rhoden family homicides of 2016 is "an absolute abuse of power" by prosecutors.

But Judge Randy D. Deering disagreed.

After the roughly 35-minute hearing, Deering ruled that the aggravated murder charges would stand against 30-year-old George Wagner IV, and that the death penalty remains an option.

[..]

The defense lawyers say that Jake Wagner told prosecutors during his confession (which prosecutors call a proffer) that George Wagner IV didn't shoot anyone that night.

[..]

If they testify against their family and fulfill their part of the bargain, none of the Wagners will face a possible death sentence, per the agreement. But the defense attorneys for George Wagner IV had argued the aggravated murder charges, and the death penalty, should be dismissed even now.

[..]

Prior to Wednesday's hearing, defense attorneys Richard Nash and John Parker had asked the judge to allow Jake Wagner to testify in court about what his brother did and did not do the night of the homicides. The judge denied that request.

So at the start of the hearing, Parker started to read aloud in court 10 excerpts of Jake Wagner's 12-hour confession. Canepa objected and fired back, saying it was clear the attorneys wanted to try the case before it ever got to trial.

The judge did not allow the excerpts to be read.

During his argument, Parker said that prosecutors "made a deal with the devil" in taking the death penalty off the table for Jake Wagner, who had admitted to personally killing five of the eight victims.

Canepa responded: "Unfortunately, there is more than one devil in this case, and that is all four defendants charged in this matter.”

Billy Wagner,
50, was last in court for a brief hearing in November. His attorneys had also argued to have that the death penalty option dismissed against him but the judge denied it. He is due back in court in February, as is George Wagner IV for his next hearing.
Well that is the first I've seen it was a 12 hour confession. I think there must be a lot in there that implicates every single one of them!

I am curious of George had any part in surveillance of their movements. All this is premeditation and I think could be used to show even if he didn't do any killing that night, that he helped plan and carry it out by helping prior to the night knowing what was being planned and then he went that night.. that shows to me that he knew what was intended and by showing up he was in agreement. I don't believe in the, but I didn't kill anyone defense when a person is a willing participant in every other act prior and is present during knowing what is going to happen.
