Has anyone else noticed that in the charges and motions when the four crime scenes are listed, they are always listed in the same order?

It could just be they're copied and pasted from one document to the next for the sake of convenience, but I wonder if this is the order in which the murders were committed--CRSR place, then FR place, then DR place, and KR last?? Just curious

In George's Bond Hearing they had the crime scenes listed as #1 #2 #3 #4.

Chris Sr's is #1.

Apparently they are listed in the order in which they were discovered. We know that order.

BJM discovered Chris Sr's home first, then secondly went next door discovering Frankie's place, then thirdly she notified her dad and brother and SIL and they went down and discovered Dana's home.

Lastly, Kenneth was discovered that afternoon in his camper.

We still don't know for sure who was killed first, second and so on, and investigators at the scenes didn't know that either.

Jake could have killed those 5 before the Wagners even went to Chris's house.

Does anyone know if the jury will be sequestered?

No or we would have heard about it by now. I believe.

Judge Deering is being careful to keep their names private and that they don't get on TV.

BJM removed the children from FR’s trailer , but I have never read who removed HR’s newborn. DR’s brother heard the baby crying but went back outside.

Wow. I don't remember that being brought up before. Good question.

Jury is composed of nine women and three men.

Trial is expected to last nearly two months.

This is a nice article that explains more about the jury selections.

I have a couple questions about dates/general time frames, trying to get things straight in my head. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate any info.

When was the Peterson Road house bought, before or after fire at Bethel Road?
Did all of the W4 live at Bethel location then all move at the same time to Peterson location?
Or, did GW4 and JW live at Peterson location first and then AW/BW moved there later?
Did Murder plans start at Bethel property and then continue after moving to Peterson?
Or, did all of the murder plans start after moving to Peterson?

Thanks for any info
I found this from a poster:

"The Peterson Road property was bought from another woman by them, or someone bought it for them. 175K is the amount listed as the sales price in 2014, buyer listed as JW and G4. You can find it in the county records and the amount paid for it."

There was never a time Angela and George and Jake did not live together so for sure the 3 of them moved together to Peterson Rd after living in the Bethel Hill Rd. trailer.

Billy wasn't living with them in 2016 when the murders took place. I believe he was living at FWF taking care of his sick dad. No one knows the date that Billy started to stay at FWF. On the Defiance Farm Facebook page (the name of their farm) there is a photo of Billy's dog in the Peterson house, and a photo of Billy in the Peterson yard with George's son as a young toddler.

I assume Billy lived there then later moved to care for his dad. The marriage seems like it was ok considering they all went to AK together and lived there together.

They started planning for the murders around January 2016 when they were living at Peterson Rd. and Billy was at FWF. I don't think Billy lived at Peterson Rd. in January 2016 because the only time all 4 Wagner phones were together - in 2016 - was the night of the murders.

UPDATE: Alternates seated in OH v. #GeorgeWagner. Five women, 1 man. Jurors will be taken to several locations involved in the investigation tomorrow and Thursday. Judge Deering told them to not wear open-toed shoes or clothes they would wear to a party

A school bus will take the jurors to the locations under court supervision. Jurors cannot bring cell phones with them. Some interesting moments in court. Will tweet in a bit.

I have seen that the jury has been selected, including alternates! Court TV and Angenette Levy have reported. I really wish he would not put the families through more pain, but he has made his decision. Is it possible to take a plea once the trial starts?

Does anyone know how much money has been spent thus far, to include the investigation, court procedures, etc..? It must be in the hundreds of thousands, or possibly more, millions.

  • #274
I don't see why he couldn't take a plea of LWOP, and cop to most, if not all charges. The result would be the same as a trial, IMO. He won't get a better deal at this point, I think. JMO

Im not interested in the gore details of the trial. I hate it for the families involved. However, I cant wait to see GW4 stare down JW and AW as they testify against him. He doesn't get a vote this time. The only vote that'll count will come from the jury. He must be having some very sleepless nights as he knows the end is near.

I’ve always wondered about it. I guess we will find out soon enough.

Didnt JM flag down a 1st responder as they were heading towards CR and FRs place? Id say the first responders took the child initially.

I would think an EMT checked her for injuries and then took her to a hospital…

Angenette Levy very detailed account of questions the defense asked the jurors which gives interesting
Insight into some of the defense thinking, like George's isolated upbringing affecting possibly his mental state, anime, video games, alternative life styles, families keeping secrets from each other....humorous moments.....just very interesting
