Or it possibly could be where the vehicle used in the murders was kept ,the three went there before and then after the murders to cleanup and change clothes before returning home to give AW the details of the murders. JMO

Hanna Rhoden's baby girl (5 days old), another baby (6 mos.) and a young child (3) were unharmed. (April 21-22, 2016, Pebbles) – for *George Washington Wagner IV (27/now 30) (Jakes’ bro) indicted (11/12/18), arrested (11/13/18), charged (11/15/18) & arraigned (11/28/18) with 8 counts aggravated murder, (plus gun specifications on each), 1 count of 1st degree conspiracy, 4 counts of 1st degree aggravated burglary, 1 count of 5th degree unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance, 3 counts of 3rd degree evidence tampering, 1 count of 5th degree forgery, 1 count of 5th degree unauthorized use of computer or telecommunications, 1 count of 4th degree interception of wire, oral or electronic communication, 1 count of 5th degree obstructing justice, & 1 count of 1st degree engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will seek the DP. Per Jake’s plea agreement, DP is off the table if his testimony is truthful.
Trial began on 8/29/22 jury selection & the jury has been seated on 8/30/22.
Opening statements will begin on Tuesday, 9/6/22. (Trial is scheduled for 30 days).

8/31/22 Wednesday, Jury Road trip day 1: Jurors take oath this morning. 8am hearing to determine Issue of media - will media be allowed to attend location tours, crime scenes. Jurors will be taken to several locations involved in the investigation Wednesday, 8/31/22 & Thursday, 9/1/22. Judge Deering told them to not wear open-toed shoes or clothes they would wear to a party. A school bus will take the jurors to the locations under court supervision. Jurors cannot bring cell phones with them. The Court ruled the media can attend without photographing the jurors.
GW4 defense filed another Motion to Compel for prosecution to tell them where Jake's wife, Elizabeth Wagner is located.

*George Washington Wagner III (47/now 51) – Last pretrial hearing on 2/1/22.
*Edward Jacob “Jake” Wagner (26/now 29) – Plead guilty (4/22/21) to all charges & will be sentenced to 8 consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole & will testify in the trials.
*Angela Jo Wagner (48/now 51) – 9/10/21: Plead guilty to a plea deal to Counts 9 thru 22, Counts 1-8 were dismissed. Will be sentenced to 30 years in prison with no early release & has to testify against others at trial.
*Rita Jo Newcomb (65/now 69) – Last Motions hearing on 12/2/19 entered a plea of guilty. Expected to testify in the trials.
*Fredericka Carol Wagner (76/now 80) – 6/26/19 Charges were dismissed without prejudice.

JMO, only if Jake or Angela lie on the witness stand. That seems highly unlikely. As AC said before, the state already has enough evidence to convict GW3 and GW4. The testimony from Jake and Angela is only to confirm what the evidence shows. With all the evidence at hand, it will be impossible for GW4 to try to insert some alternate scenario into the mix.

Angela and Jake want to keep the deals they negotiated, they'll do as they're told. If not, the whole family faces the DP. JMO, Jake's intention was to make sure his family didn't face the DP.



I've always thought the podcast leaned in favor of the Wagner family, JMO. I found it interesting that they stopped doing podcasts once Jake and Angela confessed and details confirmed the Wagner family was guilty. Now they only want to discuss technicalities of the upcoming trial. I'll go out on a limb and say they're probably repeating much of what GW4's attorneys are saying.

Maybe they'll even keep podcasting after GW4 and Billy are convicted, informing their listeners about the ongoing process of endless appeals.

It's possible. Only recently I found out that a loyal group of Happy Valley locals continues to insist Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky is innocent and are trying to get him a new trial. Truth is always stranger than fiction.

Some folks wrongly criticized JM, but I followed the timeline for him. He opened the door, stepped inside long enough to know it was bad, then heard the patrol car sirens from BJM's 911 call. He turned and ran out to the driveway to flag down one of the cars. It all took place in a couple of minutes.

JMO, he probably froze in shock when he realized Dana and family had also been killed. The sirens snapped him out of it. I would have been terrified, too. The officer then went in and rescued Hanna's baby.

BJM was very brave in going in to help Frankie's children. Realistically, she had no way of knowing whether or not the killers were still there.

ETA: The sequence of events just prior: BJM found the bodies, rescued the kids while calling 911. She also called her dad, Leonard Manley. Len called JM and told him to go to Dana's to check on them while he went to Chris & Frankies to help BJM.

It's a good question, though, about the state deciding she hadn't committed any crimes. Apparently, she met with them after she left Jake & the family. She probably told them all she knew. She wasn't with Jake at the time the murders took place, but after. She was a victim, too.

It's so incredibly sad seeing this timeline. I can't imagine the fear and disbelief that was going through their minds when the came upon the scenes.

I think it's just an attempt to intimidate her or make her feel scared weather that is so she won't testify or will not say things too incriminating, I don't know, but it just seems in bad taste for them to do this. I read another comment it was so they could interview her neighbors, but why? What would her neighbors be able to say? It's ridiculous to me that a victim of these monsters can be revictimized by their attorneys to try to discredit her, she isn't on trial.
