oh ok. i am a bit late to trial it seems. just watching the opening statements and its heartbreaking. i know the jurors will see all the pictures, etc, but I do hope they are at least censored for those of us watching online. i have a feeling that they will show the jury, via pictures, the crime scene after bodies were removed as well and that could be shown, id imagine

yeah. im still on the morning part of it and its a very hard watch hearing the prosecution lay out the facts, what the scenes were like, etc. I know they said he, Chris Sr. had defensive wounds on him, so I wonder if he attempted to fight back and that if both of them were shot in one part of the house and then dragged to a bedroom and tried to hide them just in case

I switched between Court TV and Law & Crime when the one I was watching went to commercial. It seems Court TV "pauses" and picks up where the proceeding left off. With Law & Crime, it seems we miss whatever is going on during commercial. Am I corrext?

I like the Fox19 website. It seemed to load the fastest. Its free. and other sites that stated they were live streaming were an hour or two behind compared to when I switched over to the fox19 app. Ie....angela was still talking on one site and fox19 had nash giving the defense arguments.

Boy oh boy! I've got brain freeze and I'm not sure what I was listening to in first part.
Started off on Court tv, just because I can get it on Sky tv. I didn't like it so went to my usual World Justice News, just coffee breaks and lunch and no ads, no chat.
Canapa doesn't look fully recovered yet, I hope she can get through the whole trial. It's a big ask. Comments, anyone?

I'm just starting to listen. Just got through dropping of my 2 yo granddaughter. I didn't really try to follow much today, but will catch up now. I'm listening on WCPO link to first half right now.

ETA: I'm starting a new timeline that's more specific for the night of the murders. Will add it to the other timeline when finished. After listening to AC's opening, I'll post what I have for the murder timeline and you guys let me know of any changes, corrections, etc.

I fully understand the defense must come up with alternative theory/therories. I just dont think trying to distant BW and 4 from AW and JW will get their desired results. There is absolutely no evidence of friction amongst the family clan. Itll be jnteresting what is played on the hrs of recording

This case is so disturbing. But hearing this in opening statements really took things to a new level - if even possible. Angie Canepa said Jake told them that Hanna May saw him before he shot her - although he didn't know if Hanna May knew it was him

Jake accused of killing all 8? Going to Kenny's twice?

Kenny being killed because he knew about the fake drug deal Billy set up with Chris? If true, this is a huge thing. We speculated for years on why kill Kenny. Obviously I missed alot and need to find copies of the trial.
Tomorrow will be able to listen to more. Hope to hear more from defense.

Also surprised that from what I read on here the Wagner's wanted to get rid of Jake's wife while in AK. Makes no sense to me. She lived with them in both AK and in OH. Marriage license taken out in January 2018. Left Jake August 2018.

Angela probably jealous that Jake's daughter was calling Elizabeth mom in AK is my guess. Angela is such a s@#$%&.

Oh, and the lies about child abuse, these Wagner's are some of the top sickest people in Ohio. So glad they are locked up. They did this to Tabitha also. Throw out the keys!!!!!!

My opinion is the jury hates the Wagner's more now than ever before. Canepa made her points, articulate or not, points taken.

George will get convicted of murder, he meets the criteria, in my opinion.

I agree that trying to distance them from AW and JW is not likely to work well. My thoughts are the recordings are very incriminating. JMO
