After 6+ years of following this massacre, digging through and trying to understand the who, what, when, where, and why..I admit that I'm annoyed that I'm listening to elevator music instead of in that courtroom. I can understand protecting witnesses and giving them the option of not being videoed, of course, but why not the audio? Am I still in the USA?

@iulia Thank you for posting the tweet reporting. Seems like @EvanMillward is only reporter posting testimony during breaks.
He's with WCPO. I wonder if he's watching the tv station camera outside the courtroom. Technically not there.

The defense has nothing else but to attack the victims and attempt to blame them for their own deaths. We all knew they would go cartel and cockfighting. Next they'll talk about Frankie getting in a fight over derby racing
It seems they're using all of the misinformation that swirled around in the very beginning.

I thought it odd in the very beginning how ChrisJR had listed under his picture multiple suspensions from school. Why? Seems odd to me that the prosecution would list that as a descriptor.

James Pilcher of @local12 is also tweeting.

Not sure how to attach a Twitter thread but I’ll give it a try

James Pilcher reported that BJ Manley broke down several times on the stand. Poor Bobby Jo. I hope she's ok after this. The photos and all had to be upsetting for everyone. Ms Geneva was there yesterday and I assume she's there today. Bless all of them.

the tv station camera is not allowed to video. I think he is leaving the courtroom during breaks, tweeting, then returning.

In most trials that I have watched the family is allowed to leave the courtroom before graphic photos are shown. This judge in his instructions declared that no one was to leave the courtroom while court was in session. Seems cruel to me to not make an exception for family.

Does this sound right based on information in opening yesterday? Jake admits to shooting Frankie, Hannah Hazel, Dana, Hannah May, Chris Jr. He said Billy shot Kenneth, Chris Sr, and Gary?
I recall reading threads ago that DR also suffered a shot under her chin? Wondering if this would be the last shot JW took after returning to her bedroom , after hearing her make noises.

Maybe judge is making exceptions for the family. The Judge is boss. He can make his own rules. We. have. no. idea. what. is. going. on. in. that. courtroom!

Pilcher posted that he was tweeting during a jury break between witnesses (BJM and Billy Morgan), it's past noon now, I wonder if they'll be taking another break soon. Billy Morgan must still be testifying.

in terms of opting out....do AW and JW have that same right or do they have to be recorded with their testimony etc due to the proffer?

unfortunately the judge said they have the same right since they are treated as witnesses during this trial

Thank you for all the links everyone. It is good to have several in case one starts failing.
So if CRsr was shot thru the front door why would Bobbi Jo need a key to get in?

They could do a voice over like in other trials.

Maybe it didn't damage the lockset. IIRC, the Wagners made sure to lock the door at Chris's trailer before they left. Frankie's front door had a chain lock inside. Pretty sure that was for the kids safety. They probably left out the back door.

Kenny's door only padlocked from the outside. He had a driveway alarm that didn't work that night. At Dana's her front door was left ajar.

Killers locked the door when they left? I believe that's what was said. BJM said she knew where the key was kept (gutter near the door). Maybe the mobile home type gutter they use above entry doors. The door and lock remained intact probably, with a bullet hole and some splintering. (wood in CR's face)

Thanks for the update Betty, was on the phone and saw the judge briefly, wasn't sure I even had a feed until then.
