I personally knew someone that could not read or write and got an Ohio drivers license. They will give you a verbal test. I even have heard of someone only using a driving simulator to pass a driving test.According to this article Billy Morgan testified that he does not know how to read or write, nor does he know his age other than he was born in the 70s. He also testified that he was working for Chris Sr. and that Chris Sr. gave him a truck and that he was working off the payment of that truck. I assume Ohio requires driver's licenses and that most likely there is a written portion on the test. How does one pass if they can not read or write? And would not a birthdate be required on that driver's license? So far this whole case is turning really hinky.
I don't remember ever following a trial where there was an option. It was all or none. With the way the internet is today, and the divisiveness (on literally every topic), death threats, etc. I don't know...given the choice, I might opt out too.
Angenette Levy is stating that cops who are opting out so far are not undercover. Unusual for police to do that if they're not working undercover. It's odd.
Now calling Adam Ball.
Now Muzak.
They don't want the notoriety that comes with having your face and voice on the internet until the end of time?MO
There has to be a reason for LE opting out.
It could be a different reason for each LE, but there has to be a reason.
MO
Maybe there is a good reason for them to opt out. But, IMO, LE should not opt out, transparency and all that.

Just watching the little bits of Alex Jones trial Court TV is showing before Wagner trial started and one of the responding officers, now retired, who testified about the abuse and threats he's received online and still does. It's just sickening and unbelievable. I understand opting out, I don't like it but can understand why some will.I don't remember ever following a trial where there was an option. It was all or none. I think that's the difference here, they have been given the option. JMO

I recall trials where very young witnesses have testified on video only. We expect JW and AW to opt out, same for family/friends. Now that LE is opting out, I think only expert witnesses remain.I don't remember ever following a trial where there was an option. It was all or none. I think reporters, journalists, anyone should be able to have write only tablets, no camera on it, nor recorder. They should be able to connect to wifi or mobile data and tweet/post/blog in real time the testimony. I think of all the friends and family who cannot come to the courthouse being in the dark about what's going on and that just seems very wrong. IMOMaybe there is a good reason for them to opt out. Wow! Why? Wait, this is for his own hearing? Not sure if it's related, but Billy did show up in court the first time with a white supremacy tattoo.
