Here are 2 links to watch today (hopefully I did it right).
Dep. Adam Ball has opted out of audio and video testimony right now.
Court TV said someone arrived at the courthouse with a police escort. They are speculating it could be AW or JW to testify today.

There has to be a reason for LE opting out.
It could be a different reason for each LE, but there has to be a reason.

According to this article Billy Morgan testified that he does not know how to read or write, nor does he know his age other than he was born in the 70s. He also testified that he was working for Chris Sr. and that Chris Sr. gave him a truck and that he was working off the payment of that truck. I assume Ohio requires driver's licenses and that most likely there is a written portion on the test. How does one pass if they can not read or write? And would not a birthdate be required on that driver's license? So far this whole case is turning really hinky.
I personally knew someone that could not read or write and got an Ohio drivers license. They will give you a verbal test. I even have heard of someone only using a driving simulator to pass a driving test.

I think the worst thing I saw yesterday were the photos of baby R, covered in blood at the hospital. The paramedic who testified yesterday said his diaper was soaked in blood. The photos at the hospital showed him with a clean diaper. Poor baby. Wagners are evil to do that to the family, JMO.

Court is live again.

Judge Deering is talking about the publication of baby R photos covered in blood. Court is clarifying don't want photos of deceased, minors, bloody crime scenes. These have been admitted into evidence. May have been a misunderstanding yesterday, so he's making it clear today.

Was a pre-trial order that expired, but making it clear today. No minors, no deceased bodies. Court will direct which photos can be published. Bringing in jury.

Mod Note:

Please keep in mind that the judge has stated no photos involving victims or minors, and no photos that include blood, etc. related to the crime scenes, are to be published. Those same images will not be permitted on WS in accordance with the court order.

Angenette Levy is stating that cops who are opting out so far are not undercover. Unusual for police to do that if they're not working undercover. It's odd.

Now calling Adam Ball.

Now Muzak.

I don't remember ever following a trial where there was an option. It was all or none. With the way the internet is today, and the divisiveness (on literally every topic), death threats, etc. I don't know...given the choice, I might opt out too.

I think that's the difference here, they have been given the option. JMO

They don't want the notoriety that comes with having your face and voice on the internet until the end of time?

Maybe there is a good reason for them to opt out. But, IMO, LE should not opt out, transparency and all that.

Just watching the little bits of Alex Jones trial Court TV is showing before Wagner trial started and one of the responding officers, now retired, who testified about the abuse and threats he's received online and still does. It's just sickening and unbelievable. I understand opting out, I don't like it but can understand why some will.

Not sure if it's related, but Billy did show up in court the first time with a white supremacy tattoo.

I recall trials where very young witnesses have testified on video only. We expect JW and AW to opt out, same for family/friends. Now that LE is opting out, I think only expert witnesses remain.

I think reporters, journalists, anyone should be able to have write only tablets, no camera on it, nor recorder. They should be able to connect to wifi or mobile data and tweet/post/blog in real time the testimony. I think of all the friends and family who cannot come to the courthouse being in the dark about what's going on and that just seems very wrong. IMO

Oh I never thought of that .. makes perfect sense if that is what's happening! I guess it makes me wonder why the prosecution doesn't know the amount of witnesses that are opting out ahead of time so the networks wouldn't waste money or time trying to live stream a trial of nothing but music or dead air. Seems like that would be a massive loss of revenue for them. Then again, maybe this info has been shared and the networks decided it would be worth it.

The news media has been reporting a summary of the testimony, but having transcripts would help.
