Ohio taxpayers are footing the bill for All of this and they have a legal right to see and hear all that transpires in this trial. It's the job of the media to ensure those rights.

Seems like the media did try and fight the opt-out and gave a few options with trying to still get more broadcast to the public. Their Motion included in part “for an order permitting the audio recording of any witness who opts out of being video recorded and for the placement of a second camera to record the lawyers interrogating witnesses.” but as we know this was denied.

I think it’s one thing if a layperson witness wants to opt out but people in law enforcement roles can too? That’s even more frustrating IMO

No, they're not easily available. You have to call or email them and make a request for the documents. It might be worth contacting them to see how long it will take to get transcripts of the opt out testimony.

Per wcpo Twitter: Deputy Morgan Music testified that he saw blood on the door to the loft above the garage, where they found a cannabis grow operation. Photo showed a small amount around the deadbolt and where the handle would be (it was broken off, on the floor.)

I hope we'll hear about whose blood it was. Assume it was tested for DNA. Depending on the source, it's presence could indicate different things. The broken doorknob could indicate someone forced it open who had blood on themselves or injured themselves opening it.

IMO, I get the impression that this MJ grow wasn't even large enough to be Cartel worthy. IMO, it would make some good side money, but that is it. I'm miffed that so many, including the FBI went down that rabbit hole.

The blood and broken door doesn't jive... Didn't Chris Sr go up there with Billy? I'm confused because after Chris was shot Jake had his keys too.

Maybe there is a good reason for them to opt out. But, IMO, LE should not opt out, transparency and all that.

he wanted HR and the baby, he wanted her to come back to him and they would live happily ever after, even though he knew the baby wasn't his, he wanted her to put his name on the birth certificate and pretend the baby was his,

I've seen a trend where the media has been denied access beyond reason. The media has been fighting back in the Kristin Smart case. They recently had a bailiff illegally deny access to media in motion hearings.

I know he wanted custody of the 3 year old and it was mentioned he was upset that he wasn't listed on the Birth Certificate of the new baby even though he knew he wasn't the father.
