Did toxicology to see if victims had been drugged to make it easier to kill them.

Getting basic info about who was on duty, how clothing, etc was handled.

(I'm really busy again today, so will be in and out)

Tox report for Chris Sr. Diagrams she made while examining body. Other doc is chain of custody doc. Chris Sr body placed at Hamilton County morgue at 5:50 am. Autopsy was done the following Monday.

Initial observations - A little more decomposed, no longer rigor, coloration changes. Large number of wounds to face and 2 to abdomen. Several bullets she needed to recover. Had been at least 24 hrs since he was killed. Showed decomp at time he was put in cooler. Killed around 11 pm Thurs night. Around 31 hrs between time of death and time of being placed in cooler. Decomp consistent.

Signs of decomp: skin discoloration. organs starting to fall apart.
Took xrays: On right forearm another gunshot wound
Forearm was so destroyed and lacerated. Lot of trauma. Couldn't see an entrance or exist wound. Arm was barely hanging on. A high powered weapon caused that wound. Not similar to other wounds. A different weapon than the one that caused his other injuries. High powered rifle or shotgun. LIke an SkS or AR

Approx. 31 hours from the time CR was killed to when he was placed in the lab freezer. Body had lost rigormortis, was further decomposed. Stated earlier he was examined last because he had the most damage. Dr. Looman processed the other men on Saturday, the women on Sunday, CR on Monday.

CR's forearm hit with high power, high velocity round.

By her description, his arm was nearly blown off at the elbow. "..hanging by the elbow..". "Snowstorm effect" in the xrays showing bullet fragments in the forearm, fragments glowing in the xray..

CR Sr. - Med examiner questioning (cont.)

Looking at x ray of head
Bullet in the left side of his jaw/mouth
Near ear, higher - 2 more bullets - relatively intact
Other bullet fragments

Xray of lower neck, chest, etc.
Can see a bullet in his back, on the left side.
Xray of lower back - another bullet near his spine, in back
Xray of belly - two bullets, fragments. Had serious surgery, scar on right chest. Staples, not bullets
Xray with staples she mentioned. Right forearm - both bones fractured in many pieces, then the bones disappear. Tiny pieces of metal - snowstorm effect. Indicates high powered weapon breaks into small pieces.
Xray - hips and pelvis, tiny pieces of metal in his body, need to collect. Spider shape medical device implanted

JMO - If all these wounds, from 2 different weapons (per medical examiner analysis) came from outside, it means there were two shooters outside. No getting around that.

If Billy was inside, then it was Jake and George shooting from outside. It all had to happen fairly quickly.

JMO

From autopsy, it sounds like wounds from two different weapons, shot from outside.

I like this dr. She explains things well and is very animated!
Even judge is interested. He's taking lots of notes.

Exactly what I was thinking last night.

Trying to find the diagram of the bodies posted yesterday, but it sounds like they may have been dragged by the shoulders first. They surely wouldn't turn the bodies around after getting into the bedroom, if I recall the diagram correctly they appear to have been moved head first into the bedroom.

Has doctor mentioned if Chris Sr looked like he was beaten before being shot?

OMG - Chris Sr was full of bullets

JMO, this evidence shows George was a shooter, along with Jake. End of. He's guilty. Goose is cooked.

It seems they were scared of him... so maybe beaten after shot but before not likely IMO>

JMO Once Chris fell, Gary was probably standing behind him and caught more bullets.

ME now looking at evidence taken from Chris Sr. Boxer shorts, evidence bags used to cover his hands, more. Table full of evidence bags.

She hasn't mentioned any contusions, just decomp. She stated he was wearing a tshirt and a sweatshirt. The shirts were covering his face from being drug on the floor.

I haven't heard that, but the doctor mentioned discoloration (green on the abdomen from internal decomp) along with the other blood and trauma coloration, it could look that way. Injuries to his face were from bullets, and the wood splinters from the door area.

So far I don't think he was beaten or tortured, they attacked through the front door and CR was already incapacitated from the initial assault.

Thanks, no there's another one with the bodies drawn to show their position. I've gone back three times, not finding it.

state direct of Dr Looman, forensic pathologist chief deputy coroner, (seems like they are going to do one scene at a time - so first it is CR Scene 1, my opinion)

Her CV entered into evidence,

GSW Gunshot wound

Can tell GSW entrance and exit wounds, can tell how close gun is to victim, changes to body after death, heart stops beating, no blood pressure, blood settles/pools, after 24 hours it becomes fixed, your body gets stiff over time, rigor disappears after 24 hours
Friday 22nd Pike County called our office, had several homicide victims, Dr Kessler Pike County called me, I learned 8 family members dead, wanted to know if we could handle all 8, I said he needed to send all victims to one office, it was decided they all came to us, and I would do autopsy on all 8, they arrived Saturday 5.30am approx. All came altogether, put in cooler, chain of command started, with 8 I did women on Saturday, did men on Sunday and CRsr Monday as he was injured most and would take longer, collected bullet fragments and gave them to BCI Agent who was present at autopsies, starting to show signs of decomp- many of the bodies, told many asleep in bed when shot, many were shot multiple times and never moved, and did not react to gunfire when others shot, did extra toxicology to see if they were drugged so didn't wake up, also thought maybe something muffled GS

Homicide Cases we hold onto jewelry, personal effects and clothes, gave items to BCI Agents

CRSr Autopsy (12-page autopsy report) opinion page, toxicology, (6 pages diagrams she created, describing injuries scars etc.) 1 page chain of custody

CR 5.50 am 23rd April 2016 he arrived and went into cooler, Autopsy done on April 25th,
looking at CR in body bag, skin discolorations - turn green around abdomen, slightly more decomposed than other victims, 2 GSW abdomen, many GSW in face, rigor had come and gone, (showed decomp before we put him in cooler,) 11pm Thursday killed, put in cooler 31 hours later, consistent with decomp found on CR Dr said yes, GSW on right forearm, destroyed and lacerated, see muscle and fractured bones, arm barely hanging on to elbow, high powered weapon caused that wound, like a AR or SKS? (So decomp not at issue - my opinion)
X-ray of CR sr - shown to jury, see filling in his teeth, bullet in his, mouth left side, 2 more on left by ear, relatively intact bullet, small fragments of bullet broke off,(the bullets were fired from front and found in his back) bullet in his back left side, bullet in his back, both shown on x-ray, surgery scar on chest, staples from previous surgery shown up on x-ray, right forearm, both bones fractured in many pieces, high powered bullets break up and it looks like a snowstorm effect on X ray, pieces of bullet of lower part of body shown another medical device from previous surgery shown on lower part of body

collected fingerprint clippings, bullets found in body bag, in his sweatshirt, arms over his head, sweatshirt over his head, 2 intact bullets fell out of his sweatshirt, and one other one fell on floor,
CRsr in body bag, how he was found arms over his head, sweatshirt little bit over face, photo shown to jury
upper chest, sweatshirt undershirt on, covering his face, brownbag on hands, photo (clothes pulled up could be from pulling by feet, or grabbing his clothes and pulling up so his clothes)
Case Number label photo shown to jury, torso dried blood, GSW
photo of legs, blue jeans and shoes
knee photo spots on knee
photos ID TAG on CRsr on his belt
other injuries left forehead left side of face, abrasions, wood in forehead and cheek, small pieces sticking out (photo)
photo close up of wound on his face, wood pieces, white on eye was flies that land on body after death
photo brown sweatshirt bullet that fell out
photo close up lead bullet with copper jacket
facial hair in envelope she collected
fingernail clippings of right and left hand in envelopes shown to jury
clippers in envelope
hair collected in envelope
fingerprint card in envelope
DNA (FTA Card) blood spots on card
plastic bullet box no 2, bullets which fell out of shirt AC wanted Dr to show bullets to jury, defense stipulated to the fact they were bullets,
boxers
brown bags off hands
sweatshirt out of bag, pointed out 2 holes on front 1 in back, 2 in right sleeve one in hood, saturated with blood,
defense keeps wanting to stipulate to evidence AC wants to show items to jury undershirt to jury, same GS holes, (saturated in blood)
blue jeans,
boots
socks
gave items to BCI

Where is a creek at his property?
Jmo right in front of property. Not a big creek like you may think just a small running water.

Chris Sr. hooded sweatshirt he was wearing when he was shot. This is the only bloody item we have seen; it was brown and dried blood blended in with the shirt.

I did say the vehicle trackers were expensive, but that info is 15 years old, with 3G and a fleet of 30 cars. It's amazing how prices have dropped on some tech.

Air Tags are dirt cheap. Four for $100 without shopping around.
yea airtags are especially easy to hide but not very useful in areas without much wifi. thats the difference the gps tracker has a 4g data connection but can also piggyback off of wifi. i believe the air tag only gets info from other sources and does not have its own 4g data. either way you can buy stuff so easy and cheap these days that 10 years ago would have been millitary/leo only. look at the drones with the cartel, dropping drugs at jail. in ohio people have been soaking different paper stationary with meth/fentanyl. usually sent from a religious looking source the greeting cards or whatever torn off and swallowed. there were multiple instances of this in angelas mail according to incident reports.
