The artile Death in the foothills someone posted a few pages back is really good.

In that article, it's mentioned that CRsr was helping Gary to get off the drugs. He took him to work and it said he took most of his pay to hold it for him and then went shopping with him (assuming here so he couldn't buy drugs and I'm also assuming hard drugs, not marijuana). So with that info, I wonder if some of the cash in the safe was Gary's that CRsr was holding for him?

The more I learn about this family, the more I just love them. Come he** or high water, when times got tough, they could and did pull together and lean on each other. That's a closeness that the Wags can't even imagine. Moo

There's nothing wrong with knowing the demographics of the jury. It's not as if they'll post their home addresses. MOO Our justice system was designed to be transparent. As far as I know, their identities will become part of the permanent record, no?? I'm not saying I want to know names, but I don't see the harm in demographics. MOO

*Trial continues (Day 7) (@ 9am ET) - OH - Pike County 8 people dead: Christopher Rhoden, Sr. (40), his ex-wife, Dana Manley Rhoden (37), their three children, Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden (20), Christopher Jr. (16), Hanna Mae (19); Frankie's fiancée, Hannah Hazel Gilley (20), Christopher Rhoden Sr.'s brother, Kenneth Rhoden (44), & a cousin, Gary Rhoden (37). Hanna Rhoden's baby girl (5 days old), another baby (6 mos.) & a young child (3) were unharmed. (April 21-22, 2016, Pebbles) – for *George Washington Wagner IV (27/now 30) (Jakes’ bro) indicted (11/12/18), arrested (11/13/18), charged (11/15/18) & arraigned (11/28/18) with 8 counts aggravated murder, (plus gun specifications on each), 1 count of 1st degree conspiracy, 4 counts of 1st degree aggravated burglary, 1 count of 5th degree unlawful possession of dangerous ordnance, 3 counts of 3rd degree evidence tampering, 1 count of 5th degree forgery, 1 count of 5th degree unauthorized use of computer or telecommunications, 1 count of 4th degree interception of wire, oral or electronic communication, 1 count of 5th degree obstructing justice, & 1 count of 1st degree engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity. Plead not guilty. Held without bond. DA will seek the DP. Per Jake’s plea agreement, DP is off the table if his testimony is truthful.
Trial began on 8/29/22 with final jury selection & the jury was seated on 8/30/22. 12 Jurors & 6 alternates. Jury: (9 women & 3 men) & 6 alternates: (5 women & 1 man).
Trial began with opening statements began on Monday, 9/12/22. (Trial is scheduled for 30 days).

I dont see anything wrong with the demographics of the jury. It has already been said it is predominantly women. Of course, names are ont relevant but the rest should be public info.

It's possible he used it when transporting the items he sold. Weather that be the marijuana he was growing or firearms or anything else that is fairly valuable.

I was thinking CRjr’s car. His driver’s license was in the safe because he was grounded…

I have heard many times that Kenny showered over at Chris's but is this a rumor or is there a link to this?

All I could find:

"It has been rumored Kenneth went to his brother Chris's home every morning around 5:00 AM to take a shower before heading to work since he lived in a camper and may not have had running water hooked up to it."

There were at least 2 Rhoden relatives who lived on Kenny's road - one next door where he got his mail - so I don't see why he would drive literally miles to shower at Chris's house when other relatives lived right there plus Kenneth needed alot of time to drive to the city to work and had to have some water hooked up to at least cook and drink and wash his hands and water his plants etc... This isn't the 1800's.

Just one question: do we know if the night of the murders was chosen based on the full moon that fell on 04/22/2016? The visibility was good from the previous night. And I always wondered if the killers had thought of that.

If a drug cartel wipes out the competition... would they not destroy the crops there or take them away?

I would show all the drug stuff... obviously it wasn't the reason for the killings. No need to avoid it IMO.

Not sure about the drugs but a cartel definitely wouldn’t have spared the dogs. Or the children at the other crime scenes. While brutal… it’s also the easiest and quickest way to deal with “distractions” that have the potential to slow them down.

The cash stories are an interesting side issue but it wasnt the motive for murdering 8. The motive is and always will be about the W4 wanting sole custody of the child.

i think custody started the convo to murder as a problem solver but i also believe the perks of cash and revenge on crsr by billy helped convince everyone what a great idea it was. ive said from the begining that crsr was a great grower and whether people want to believe it or not, great growers made well over 6 to 7 figures per year. crsr was on his way to becoming if not already a millionaire. off his own hard work. dont forget alaska. this had been billys life long dream as a prepper/conspiracy theory type. so the "dream is launched." angela determining the best way to motivate each wagner to do her bidding, as angela wanted sofia the most. jake obviously did not care about his daughter to let this happen
